    Nooooooooooo!

Indie is one of the reasons I became a Junction resident. So many good memories, lots of Instigator. The neighbourhood is becoming sparse and it breaks my heart.

Gotta head down for one more flight.

  2. Another good business lost due to exorbitant rent

From the Toronto craft beer sub:

    >They declared bankruptcy/restructuring a while ago, with a lot of debt. Got screwed by the DME closure, and some issues at their former west end production facilities (which is separate from the brewpub on Dundas – they have since moved their main production to a facility in Niagara Region). The brewery was $6 million in debt. **Using the landlord as the reason for the brewpub closure is just an excuse to save face.**

(DME was a brewing equipment manufacturer that went bankrupt in 2018, and left a lot of local craft breweries, including Indie Alehouse, without their orders for which they had already paid large deposits on)

Junction only cares about laneway houses, condos and movie shoots.

Their fish and chips and house IPA were the perfect combo after a long week and I never realized how much I’d miss that cozy patio until now

  6. Honestly, didn’t care for it. Everyone hyped the chicken sandwich but it never did it for me. My wife was a huge fan years ago but every time we go back she says its gone downhill.
