Waitrose store brand sardines in spring water, they're my favourite for a cheap, filling and very nutritios combination. I broke a 24h fast with this meal: cous cous, sprouts, radishes and sardines and a drizle of chilli sauce

I feel like I’d be so healthy if I ate like this

I usually get mine in EVOO but seeing those I’m going to try some in spring water

WELP, that’s my cue to add sprouts and radishes to my grocery list. Thanks for the inspiration, that looks fantastic!

Decent looking ‘dines like that in the US cost like $5 plus for tiny cans.

**Edit:** For those who are down voting me, in my area, the Walmart Great Value brand of sardines are $1.12, Beach Cliff are $1.14, and King Oscar’s are about $3.60.

In my opinion, all those listed above are lesser quality sardines than what OP is showing for $0.87. Some variety or specialty stores will carry more vareity and better brands, but at a much higher price than what’s “normally” available to most US consumers (like Beach Cliff and King Oscars).

M&S and Waitrose brand tinned fish are insane value for quality.

Is the 24 hr fast for Yom kippur? That’s a pretty unique way to end a fast
