The popular website Mashed put out a list of the best spaghetti dishes you could get in the United States, and one comes from an Atlantic City restaurant.
There were restaurants from all over across the country, including spots in Illinois, Massachusetts, Brooklyn, Washington, D.C, San Francisco, St Louis, San Diego, and a few others.
Mashed Recognizes Carmine’s Among America’s Best Spaghetti Dishes
Carmine’s located inside the Tropicana in Atlantic City, landed on the “best” list, highlighting their Bolognese, saying “We love their lamb bolognese — it’s so flipping flavorful and delicious! I could eat that every night of the week.”
On the Italian restaurant’s menu, the Bolognese is listed as a “slowly simmered tomato sauce with ground beef and sweet Italian sausage.”
Sounds delicious, and they have some of the most generous portions you’ll ever see, along with plenty of pasta choices!
One other thing that had customers talking is their marinara sauce, “it isn’t just phenomenal on meatballs and pasta, but when it’s used on the bread, it’s just next-level.”
A Taste of Family-Style Italian Dining at the Tropicana
According to the restaurant’s website, Carmine’s opened in 2004 inside the Quarter at Tropicana in Atlantic City.
The restaurant is known for its “over the top generous” and “not big, they are gargantuan” family-style portions.
It is one of the premier spots in the city for family-style parties with plenty of private party rooms and event spaces throughout the property.
