Works in the air fryer too, takes about 12 mins at 180

My wife does but I hate the greasy cookie sheet I prefer the ol skillet
SOVLTRON
Best way IMHO.. I cook it low and slow, 330° until it gets crispy…

Only way I make it anymore, but with a layer of foil and parchment for easy cleanup.

What’s the best temp for this?
Murdy2020
Similar, but we have an old broiler tray that we set on top of the cookie sheet so the fat can drain away.

Yes, and scramble my eggs in some of the bacon grease. I also will use the bacon grease and a slice or two to season a pot of cabbage.
kathatter75
Now I want some nice crispy bacon
Ok-Government-1139
Yes but I also put cut on cooling racks so the grease drips off into the pan. Perfect flat crispy bacon every time. 400 for 20-25 minutes for thick cut

Doubles?

Yep! Even better on a wire rack in the tray, keep it off the grease

I do in the winter, otherwise I just do it all on my blackstone.
FleshlightModel
If you twist it up, it bakes a little nicer imo and takes up a lot less space so you can almost double the amount of bacon you can bake in one shot.
Saskatchemoose
Yeah but I rub em down in brown sugar if I’m baking them. Then use the grease/melted sugar for sautéing vegetables.
jacksraging_bileduct
I usually start with a pork belly and an equilibrium cure, once cured it gets smoked to 150° internal temp, then it’s chilled and sliced as desired for frying or baking.
Felaguin
I do bake the bacon on a sheet pan but I put it on a rack so it’s not sitting in the drippings. I also pour those drippings off for use later.

I am 65 years old and I remember as a child on holiday get togethers at Grandmas house, that is exactly how she did 6 – 7 pounds of bacon for breakfast. Eggs poached or scrambled. White and Brown home made bread toast.
Guess how my Christmas breakfast is going to be cooked?

Nah just you

Except I like the pan with heavy foil. Easy clean up like 72% of the time.
Potential-Use-1565
I used to do morning prep at a restaurant and did 6-7 sheets of bacon this way every single day. Not only is the oven the best method for cooking bacon, it makes the entire building smell like bacon for hours.
Brandon3845
That’s how most restaurants do lol. In an oven

I didn’t know people did this until I worked at Chick-Fil-A. My oh my do they taste sooo gooooood.
There used to be a “secret menu” at Chick-Fil-A. Mac n Cheese topped with small bacon bits mmm.

Shit yeah! Easier, less mess, no downsides.
