    It’s supposed to be two huge pieces of lettuce, I used to get that at Five Guys a lot and it was good.

    Normally it’s just a big leaf wrapped around the rest or two leaves, one top one bottom.

    Shredded lettuce and diced onions are the worst possible toppings for a sandwich of any type. Not sure why most burger places do it. I seriously don’t have a clue.

    Looks like someone in the kitchen didn’t feel like doing their job? 😂 was it busy when you went in there? I know alot of cooks that think it’s SUCH an inconvenience when then have to do ANYTHING ‘off’ menu. This is one of those rare moments where I would ask to speak to whoever is in charge in that kitchen and ask them if this is standard and how they normally serve it AT THE VERY LEAST GIVE ME MORE LETTUCE! But I’d probably just walk out

    I love lettuce buns. I also love a pretzel bun, but 9/10 I’m there for the burger/toppings, not the wrapper.

    If a place doesn’t have lettuce buns I just have them put on a bed of lettuce, or straight on the plate I truly don’t gaf about the opinion of anyone who judges a person for not wanting a hamburger bun.

    It’s keeping me eating way more burgers than I would be able to eat otherwise.

    Do they only have shredded lettuce? They shouldn’t offer lettuce wrap if they only have shredded lettuce, that’s a salad.

    As a Celiac, I can’t eat most buns as they contain wheat. I usually just opt for no bun and eat burgers on a bed of (safely fried) French fries, topped with condiments, onions, and pickles.

    That said, lettuce wraps aren’t bad if they actually give you large leaf lettuce. That shredded nonsense you have in your pic is unfortunate, haha.
