Two Chicago restaurants have joined the prestigious ranks of the 2025 MICHELIN Guide.
“Two new spots are joining the Guide this fall,” a recent post to the MICHELIN Guide website says.
Astor Club’s Chef’s Table, located in the city’s Gold Coast neighborhood, and Creepies in West Loop.
Chef’s Table specializes in American contemporary cuisine, according to the MICHELIN Guide. Those curious to try the eatery do not need membership to the private Astor Club in order to bite into the tasting menu, however, reservations are recommended by the Guide due to the limited seating.
Creepies offers French bites with a Midwestern flare, according to the Guide. The “simple but well-executed theme” of the restaurant pervades the menu from appetizers to dessert, the Guide said.
Both received a designation of “recommended,” meaning they are eligible for star or Bib Gourmand designations at the Guide’s annual ceremony next month, according to Eater.
Taking place this year on November 18 in Philadelphia, the 2025 MICHELIN Guide Northeast Cities Ceremony will unveil what restaurants earned Michelin star or Bib Gourmand designations. Plus, this year there will be a new celebration of the latest additions from New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Boston, according to The Guide.
A number of Chicago restaurants were also added to the MICHELIN Guide in July, including Tama in Bucktown, Nadu in Lincoln Park and Oliver’s in South Loop.
