My mammul recipe is one of the easiest and most delicious mammoo you’ll ever have. To the date paste filling, I add ground anise, ground cinnamon, and melted butter. And I just mix it all together. And then I go ahead and I shape them into small bowls. And they will be the stuffing for the cookie. For the cookie dough, I add flour, powdered sugar, dry milk powder, cookie spice, ground denise, ground mahab, and mastic. I stir it all together. And then I go ahead and add my semi melted butter. Mix it all together. Add a little bit of water. Mix again with your hands until it looks like this. It should be really easy to work with. Grab a piece of the cookie dough and shape it with your hands like a ball. And then you’re going to flatten it out a little bit and add the date bowl right in the center and cover it up. Shape like so. Poke a hole right into the center. Grab your decorative tweezers and go right around the edges and then up top as well until it looks beautiful just like these. Bake them. And look how gorgeous they are. Top them off with some powdered sugar and enjoy.
