been wanting to give this a try – the 91 watts is during ignition – shouldn’t draw too bad during cooking

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!
*What seasoning did you use?
*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?
*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?
Traeger on!

Friend of mine today was running a small Rec Tec at a tailgate with a Milwaukee battery, worked fine.

It’s nice to know for an emergency. We had power outages before. And I had to do this. Which is a great option when power takes a few days to get on.

I’ve ran mine a few times on a trusty but cheap Amazon 300wh 350w box done a 6hr cook had over 50% left.

I’ve done the same will a Goal Zero 500x. Get yourself a 100w solar panel from Harbor Freight and you will stay charged as long as you need.
With the solar panel you be picking up 70w-80w in full sun and only using 10w-20w on a Traeger Taigaiter after the initial start up.
