I have never grown vegetables in my life other than helping my mother a little bit here and there while growing up. For the first time I planted some okra plants in my yard this year. Am loving the experience so far. Here is yield from the last two days. Thought of sharing.

Beautiful okra! They are such a hardy Texas vegetable. They just keep chugging along. I just finished pulling up my okra plants a couple days ago. It was a long and productive season. Could have continued, but they were slowing down and I wanted the space for other crops. NE Texas.
What variety are they? I grow Okinawa Pink and Burma Green. Texture is best for mine if I pick them smaller than these in your photo.
