Hello there. All right, it is currently May 7th. I’m in the mood to bake something. It’s spring. It’s almost summer. You know what screams summer flavors, fresh farmers market feel more than anything else? Pumpkin. That’s right. I want to bake something. And the things I’m going to be baking are pumpkin. I pulled this out of a dumpster. I had a lot of fun doing my little chocolate chip cookie excursion last year and I want to I want to do it again. Uh full disclosure, I thought of this idea immediately after starting making the cookies because I thought that would take, you know, like a month tops. It did not. And I was like, “Oh, you know, would be a fun thing, little thing to do in October is to make all the pumpkin recipes from King Arthur flour.” I uh recently looked it up. If you look up pumpkin on king arthurflowerbaking website.com, there’s about 80 recipes that come up. Checked over every single one of those. Uh, only about 45 actually contain pumpkin. So, from that pool, I will not be making all 45. Look, I learned my lesson last time. I don’t want to make all of them. If I don’t want to make them, I’m not going to make them. Look, the cookies was about finding the best cookie. The pumpkin, I just want to have some little treats. I’m going to be real. So anyway, I’m going to go through I’m probably going to bake like I don’t know, maybe 30 of these. Same shtick as last time. I’m going to be following all of these recipes exactly as they are written. Any of the recipes that call for like eggs or butter, milk, whatever, I’m just going to be subbing those out for vegan alternatives. I’ve given myself like a fivemon head start on this. Uh I will not be getting to all 45 recipes. If you want an itemized list of every single item that I will not be making and why, let’s [ __ ] go. I got two dumpster pumpkins left from my haul last year. And uh this would be a good way to use them up. My freezer is completely filled with frozen pumpkin. I need space in there. I want to I want to make some things. And I’m also in the mood for things that are not cookies cuz I’ve made too many cookies. And the pumpkins have a nice variety, you know. There’s breads, there’s cakes, there’s an ice cream recipe, they’ve got like savory dishes. I’m looking forward to making some stuff. Yeah, I just want to make some more stuff. Me in the future. If anyone’s wondering, this is how much my hair grows in exactly five months. This was shaved before. Thank you. Oh, Neix. Anyway, I’m here. I got some little coffee. I’m ready to [ __ ] party. King Arthur Flower. Hey, how’s it going? Love you all. However, uh, one note that I want to ask is why do you not have any pumpkin drink recipes? You have other beverage recipes on your website, but there’s no pumpkin ones. I cannot tell you the lengths I would have gone to to have a silly little like pumpkin hot chocolate recipe while I was making all of these. But no, there’s not a single hot chocolate. There’s not a single like coffee recipe. There’s I don’t know what else there is. [ __ ] just like pumpkin latte. That’s probably a thing. Just like with milk. I don’t know. Write it. I’ll make it. Anyway, it is October 11th maybe. Yeah, it is. pretty much like five months since I started this and I’m all done with your little recipes, with your little games, Arthur. I’m on to you. Here are the final results of our little test. Was it a test for anything? No, I don’t I don’t remember what I do. I don’t know what day it is, by the way. Here’s the little uh notebook I use. Also got this out of a dumpster. This is where my animatics go to die. Anyway, during the past five months, I made 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 12 49 recipes. Oh my god. 49 recipes. Uh, we’ll round up and call it 50 cuz I goofed a little bit on some of them. Also, 50 sounds better. That’s too many [ __ ] recipes. Don’t Don’t make all of these recipes. Don’t do it. You should value your free time. I don’t value mine. Also, I love food so much. Anyway, here’s what I think about every single one of the 50 pumpkin recipes that I made from the King Arthur website uh in the past few months. If you can hear construction noises, I’m very, very sorry about that. But also, I can do nothing about it. This is not my house. Also, the construction is not happening here. There is construction happening at my house. That’s going great. [Music] You can hear it a little bit. I’m very sorry about that, but I’m going to try to cover it up. First off, pumpkin layer cake. Possibly the biggest recipe that they had on there. I want to just like get it out of the way. Plainly speaking, I don’t know if I’ve just become extremely jaded over the past few months uh and like immune to pumpkin flavor or if this cake was really good, but this cake was really [ __ ] good. Everything about it was so good. Cream cheese frosting was great. It had like a little bit of almond extract in there, which I loved. I think it also could have used like a teeny tiny bit more spice, but like it was perfect. It had a had a little caramel topping. Caramel. I say caramel. If you say caramel, you’re either 90 years old or Conan Gray. Imagine if that song was just caramel. Caramel the song. That would have been great. Charlie, what are you doing? Anyway, it had a little caramel. Caramel. God damn it. Anyway, it had some like caramel on top. It was really good. I don’t even like caramel. Uh, but this was delicious. Anyway, uh, this cake was great. Give it like a nine out of 10. That’s good cake. Good. [Music] Also, I want you to know I have a lot of strong thoughts about this. I have a lot of strong thoughts on food and cooking. And I will let you know that every single time I baked a recipe, I wiped every single bowl clean. I got my little spatula in there and I like scraped every single ounce of batter out of there and I ate it. If I am watching like a cooking show or a cooking YouTube video, if someone does not like wipe their bowls clean like [ __ ] spotless, I do not trust you as a person. We cannot be friends. I wipe every single one of those bowls perfectly clean. Put them back in the cabinet. Didn’t even need to wash them. I don’t wash anything. I don’t wash myself. Don’t put that in there. Did I already make these? Yes. Did I like them the first time? They were okay. Do I just want to eat some cookies right now? You bet your ass I do. Next up, the gluten-free pumpkin cookies. I already made the regular version of these cookies during my chocolate chip video. They tasted exactly the same. Who would have thought? Uh, these ones were gluten-free. They were great. I think these called for orange zest. I didn’t put the orange zest in this time cuz I didn’t like the last time. I don’t like fruit. So, uh, if anything, they were better than last time. Also, I remembered frosting this time. I think I forgot those last time. I also might have forgotten them this time, but I added them on there. M drippy. Also, these definitely were better uh the next day instead of right out of the oven. Uh because I might have goofed up on something. Did I mention I forgot to set a timer for these? So they’re just completely raw in the middle. Off to a good start, lads. Next up, pumpkin pancakes. I love a good pancake. Oh, I am the pancake connoisseur. And by that, I mean I just eat a lot of pancakes. I have them like every week. They’re delicious. I’ve made the same recipe since I was like six. What the [ __ ] you’re going to do about it? It’s the perfect recipe. No notes. Anyway, these pancakes pretty good. They’re not going to be beaten old Betty, but you know, they’re still pretty good. They had like a really good flavor, and it was like a nice change of pace from the regular pancakes I make. I don’t know like what the serving size on this is supposed to be or like how many people this recipe claims to feed. This made like seven tiny ass pancakes. What am I, a [ __ ] bird? I ate all of these pancakes like within 20 minutes. They were great. If this is supposed to feed a family of four, I feel like that’s a recession indicator. Anyway, I think it could use like a little bit more texture. You know, you could add something in the center that could give it some little fun little funkin flavors. Um, but overall pretty good. I did have some leftover icing from the pumpkin cake that I put on these. And oh boy, was that good. There’s some good [ __ ] Oh, I love pancakes. It is good. Guess who forgot about the other pancakes? Oops. Whoopsy-doo. Uh, sourdough pumpkin spiced bread. Um, this was fine. In my notes, I’m quite negative about this. However, thinking back on it, like this bread really wasn’t that bad. Um, this recipe called for raisins. I said I’m making these recipes how they were intended to be made. How the gods over at King Arthur Flower intended them to be made. Um, I put in raisins. I hate raisins. It was fine. I I was being a baby. See this? They’re going in. You can ignore whatever [ __ ] face I’m making here. I don’t I don’t know what’s going on here, but like I got over it. The spice flavor was really good. I was expecting more of like a quick bread sweetness, and it wasn’t really a quick bread. It was like somewhere in between like sweet and savory, but it wasn’t really either. Um, it definitely got better the more I ate it. This bread was good. Okay, I’ll give it like a seven and a half out of 10. It really wasn’t that bad. I just don’t like raisins. Good. That’s good. I I’ll say it’s good. Up next, we have the most pumpkin pumpkin chocolate bread. [ __ ] big claim there, buddy. Yeah, I think you guys did yourself in a little bit for claiming to have the most pumpkin pumpkin chocolate bread because I would not say this was the most pumpkin pumpkin chocolate bread. This was just pumpkin chocolate bread. You feel? Yum. this. It didn’t really taste uh that much like pumpkin or like the spices. It did taste a lot like chocolate, which is great. However, something’s missing from there. Chocolate is great. Uh there are nuts in there, too. I I might have undercooked this a little bit. That one’s on me. However, uh it did taste very good. Uh however, I think it could use a little bit more pumpkin. Just saying. I did make this last night and this is all that’s left. So, you can guess how this one’s going. Oh, chocolate. By the way, I filmed the last little outro thing about a half an hour ago. That’s all that’s left now. Pumpkin biscotti. Oh, biscotti are so good. In my ripe old age, I think I’m starting to really like biscati a lot more. I wrote super crunchy while still being edible. What do I mean by that? Anyway, um these were quite good. I think it could have used a little bit more spice and also maybe like a topping. I think would was I supposed to add sugar on these? Did I not add sugar on these? I don’t know. I think I [ __ ] this up in some way. However, they were really good. The time has come. Look what I found. Look at this. It’s even from King Arthur 2. Wow. Oh my god, that’s cinnamony. They also weren’t too sweet. They weren’t too sweet. And I mean that in a good way. Not you know how like older women will always like try to compliment something be like it’s not too sweet. I don’t mean it like that. I mean like it was really good but they’re not like sugar cookies like blasted at you. They’re like biscotti. Biscotti are kind of like mildly sweet. Anyway, delicious. I love a good biscotti. [Music] Play some elevator music during this part. Like I don’t think that’s how it goes. Next up, uh, pumpkin pie bars. I’ve got some [ __ ] beef with these. Look, I’m like dubious of the recipe. I read through the recipe and I was like, hm, something seems off here. This is highly questionable. 20 tablespoons. That’s a lot. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Oh my god, that’s 2 and 1/2 sticks of butter. I I don’t know exactly what happened in these. I looked through all the comments to see if other people were having this problem and no one mentioned it. Okay, so hello there. I’m editing this right now and I went back to look at the recipe because I remember there wasn’t any like thickener in the batter. So there weren’t any like eggs or flour to like, you know, bind it together. It was just kind of like pumpkin pumpkin and dreams. The recipe is completely [ __ ] different now. None of the measurements are the same. So, I looked in the comments again cuz I thought I was going crazy. I thought I was [ __ ] losing my mind. Turns out they updated the recipe now. So, the one that I made in this video is no longer available. Um, there’s a different recipe there now. So, if you want to go try that, go for it. It seems like it’s a lot better. In the picture, they’re like little bars, like slabs that you can like, you know, pick up and eat. Mine did not hold up like that. Mine had almost no structural integrity. I don’t think it was like a vegan substitution thing that was the issue there. So, I’m going to blame it on them. entirely. It was good. There wasn’t anything like super special about it. Uh but again, it was tasty. You were supposed to add like a sour cream whipped cream topping. Um quite frankly, I forgot to make that. That’s my bad. They might have been a little bit better with that. However, I don’t understand how these are supposed to hold together. Look, I don’t have an engineering degree. Uh but something’s off on these. I mean, like, it tastes good. I don’t think this is what it’s supposed to be. Probably worse. Hey, you said hi cheese. Oh, hi. The no bake pumpkin mousse pie. I got beef with you, sir. Once again, I will admit that I did change some things in here from the recipe. However, I don’t think the changes that I made had that much of an impact. It like wasn’t super flavorful. It needed more pumpkin flavor. It needed more spice flavor. I even added in a ton more spices and it still wasn’t that spicy. I also made this while I was babysitting uh three cats and a 14-year-old Chihuahua. They all hate me. Where are my kitties? Hello. Dana. Oh [ __ ] Hi there. Where’s the third one? The little prince is asleep. That doesn’t have an impact on here. Also, their kitchen just has like the weirdest lighting in the world. I don’t know why, but none of the lights work. Why don’t the lights work? I made it to eat while I was watching The Last of Us season 2 finale. And I definitely like the finale more than the pie. No shade to the finale or to this pie. Take that however you want to. Next up, we have a few recipes that I want to kind of clump together because like they all taste the same. Like I don’t at this point I think I was maybe like a month and a half into this little uh baking excursion and uh everything was starting to taste the same. So basically we had the spiced pumpkin cake, the easy pumpkin bread, the pumpkin gingerbread with orange pumpkin spice latte bars, and the pumpkin cake bars. Like all of these are good. I don’t want to I don’t want to give you the wrong impression. I liked all of these. However, they all just were pretty much identical. It got to the point where I did have a cold and so I thought I might have COVID because all of them they just taste the same. Um I didn’t they they were just identical. Anyway, the uh spiced pumpkin cake, it was good. It was like a naturally vegan cake, so like it’s a good option if you want to make like a vegan cake, but also don’t want to buy any weird ingredients. The easy pumpkin bread had like nuts and chocolate, which is great. There’s no cinnamon in there for some reason. Why was there not cinnamon in there? the uh pumpkin gingerbread with orange. Didn’t really taste like gingerbread. Uh tasted a lot like orange. I don’t like orange. However, it wasn’t that bad. I thought it was going to be worse, but it was just overall pretty fine. Um pumpkin spice latte bars definitely was expecting these to be better. They did not really taste like pumpkin and also did not really taste like coffee. I’ve never had a pumpkin spice latte, so both of those things might be true about it. I wouldn’t know. However, I also expect that to be a disappointment. And uh lastly, the pumpkin cake bars. Uh this had crystallized ginger in it and cream cheese frosting, which was like the only distinguishing factor about it. [Applause] Again, tasted good. Crystallized ginger. So good. However, the base of it tasted all the same. Next up, I made Oh, no. The uh gluten-free pumpkin cake donuts. The recipe is gluten-free. I also tried to make them vegan. My notes just say everything about this was a mistake. I made these. I put them in the oven. They were supposed to cook for like 20 minutes. I think I cooked them for like 40 minutes. Uh, still basically raw inside. That’s uh most definitely not cooked. At least not cooked well. You know, it has a consistency of mochi, but not in a good way. You can’t make these gluten-free and also vegan. I’m just saving you the time. Don’t try that. I did try it again with the regular doughnut recipe. not the gluten-free one. It definitely was better. Imagine that it’s cooked inside. Still real mushy inside, but definitely cooked now. However, I have very strong opinions on donuts. I have very strong opinions on foods in general. I’m sure we’ve all noticed that by now. However, donuts are quite possibly my favorite food in the world, and I’ve got some [ __ ] thoughts on them. If you try to give me a baked donut and claim that it’s a donut, that’s not That’s a piece of cake. All right, [ __ ] you. Baked donuts are not donuts. Get that [ __ ] out of here. That’s cake with a hole in it. What was I getting at? Oh, yeah. This tasted fine. Uh, but it’s not a donut. I don’t like him. It’s not a problem with this recipe. It’s a problem with baked donuts in general. So, sorry. I like reloaded the page when I was going through making them and wouldn’t you know it, four more recipes came in for me to try. King Arthur was making things harder on me. However, I’m still going to try them all. So, next up, we have one of the new recipes, which is a chocolate pumpkin crumb cake. Oh my god, this thing was incredible. Oh my god, it was so good. There was like there were so many layers going on. Got to get them layers. It had like a little bit of pumpkin layer on the bottom. There was almost no pumpkin in this which might have been why I liked it so much cuz it tasted different than anything else. It had like a big chocolate crumbly cake on top and then it had like a thick layer of icing on top also. Um the icing was really good. Don’t skip out on the icing. Oh my god, there were so many textures. There was so many flavors. There was so much going on here. I absolutely love this thing. The chocolate crumb topping, whatever you want to call it, was so goddamn good. I don’t know if it was like the specific cocoa powder I used, but it tasted exactly like the chocolate like Teddy Grahams, the ones that are like kind of shitty, but you love it. Tasted exactly like those. Like kind of shitty chocolate, but in the best way possible. It was so delicious. This one’s really good. I’m going to write the first review on this. Can you tell which one is mine? Dog break. Hi. Hello. Okay, next up we have the gluten-free pumpkin spice coconut flour pancakes. Again, love some pancakes. However, look, this is another recipe that uh unfortunately because of the lack of gluten, you can’t really make uh vegan. Also, it relies heavily on eggs. I did not put in eggs, so it was just like soup. It was like frying soup in a pan. However, it like the flavor of these were really good. It was like very nicely spiced. It had honey in it. It just tasted like honey. I love honey. It’s so delicious. So, these did taste really good. Structurally, they were bad. I would have not given these to anyone else, but I ate them all and I liked them. Like, maybe if I do a close-up, these will look less bad. I don’t think it’s working. The structural integrity is not there, but flavor-wise, these are great. I don’t know who the [ __ ] wrote down that this makes 14 to 16 pancakes. You’re out of your mind. Not as bad as it could have been. I’m going to continue to sit on the ground and eat the rest of these. I think if you made this recipe uh with eggs like you were supposed to, it would be like an eight. With the ones that I made that did not have any eggs, I would give it like a six. Uh so I’m going to just going to round it out and call it a seven. Again, they were good, but not for me. Next up, pumpkin brand muffins. So many of these recipes call for brand flakes. I couldn’t find just like plain brand flakes. I could only find like frosted brand flakes. Um they’re delicious. I don’t know what they are, but they’re good. These muffins um did not look the best. I will say they were kind of dense and rubbery, but like not in a bad way, just kind of that’s the texture they were. The brand flakes also give it a really weird texture cuz they’re like crunchy, but then you soak that with the wet ingredients, so they’re just kind of like wet and soggy. Once again, I don’t like cranberries. Look, I decided with that first bread that like I just wasn’t going to add [ __ ] like raisins or cranberries or fruit to anything cuz I don’t like them and I don’t want to eat them if they’re there. Um, so just for like the sake of the photos and for trying it out, I did add a few little like craisins to exactly one muffin to try it out and to take photos of. I didn’t like it with the cranberries. However, by themselves, they were pretty good. I did cook them longer than you’re supposed to and they are still a little undercooked. Um, that might just be a vegan thing. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot worse tasting muffins, so not bad. Uh, next up we have the Inside Out Pumpkin Muffins. My notes just say veganism definitely did this one in. And also the burning. It’s burning. It’s burning. Hold on. Uhoh. Uhoh. It’s Oh god. There’s It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter. It’s fine. This house doesn’t have smoke detectors. Don’t worry about it. So, let me be clear. These were great. I think they could be really good. However, the type of cream cheese I used in these uh does not lend well to baking. The idea of these is great. It’s like, you know, a muffin and inside there’s like a little ball of cream cheese and then on top there’s like a crumbly topping. Um it’s not how it worked out for me. The uh the vegan cream cheese I used just kind of melted into nothing. So, they were hollow and also a little oily and then the topping on top uh burned everywhere. But, they did taste very good. I like them. I I ate them. I also made these to bring to a friend and then I was like, “Oh, [ __ ] I can’t bring these. They look like shit.” And then I tried one and I was like, “They’re pretty good. I’ll just bring them anyway.” Gave them to my friend. Have not heard from them since. I don’t think they liked them. I’ll give these another shot. I’ll try making them again with like a correct cream cheese to use for them. Um, but overall, I’d give it like an eight out of 10. Surprisingly good. Yeah, my camera’s dying. Next up, the pumpkin whoopy pies. Um, these were good. However, they weren’t anything special except for the crystallized ginger. Crystallized ginger is the [ __ ] game changer in all of these recipes. Crystallized ginger is so goddamn good. It has like that added like textural boost of like raisins or cranberries or whatever. Um, but not being a fruit. So, it tastes good and also it tastes like sugar. So, that was the only thing that really stood out about these. Otherwise, they were just like soft cookies with cream cheese. So basically cake with cream cheese. So basically tasted the same as everything else. Cheers. Tastes like I’m eating two cookies with frosting. They’re pretty good. Sourdough ginger pumpkin bread. This is the one that looks like a [ __ ] pumpkin. This bread was so cute. This bread was really delicious. Once again, having the crystallized ginger in there knocked this out of the [ __ ] park. It was kind of like a savory bio. Um but it wasn’t like super savory. It wasn’t super sweet. It was like a nice like in the middle. It was basically like a dinner roll but in a big old pumpkin shape. I absolutely want to make this again. Having it in the pumpkin shape is so fun. I will say I did kind of [ __ ] it up a little bit. You are supposed to, you know, score bread before you put it in the oven so it has room to expand. I have been baking bread for like I don’t know 7 years now. Somehow I forgot that. So it did look a little frumpy. However, still delicious. This easy like 9 out of 10. That looks so funny and stupid. Hold on. Hold on. Like that’s kind of cute, right? Come on. That looks like bread. It’s not exactly a savory bread, but it’s not exactly a sweet bread, but it is fun. I like it. Oh, the ginger is really good. Okay, back to soup. Anyway, pumpkin soup. This pumpkin soup. Once again, I have my pumpkin soup recipe that I love. Here you go. I like my soup better. However, this soup recipe was also quite good. I might have added like a little bit too much water or something, but it wasn’t super heavy on the pumpkin. Um, it mostly tasted like lime and pesto. I might have added too much lime and pesto. However, it was delicious. It definitely like could have used a little bit more salt or like spices in it, but again, yummy. When I made this, I ate it along with the sourdough ginger pumpkin bread, and it was like a [ __ ] killer combo. It was great. Tastes like lime and pesto. It is pretty good. I think I might have plugged something up here. But it’s good. That’s not angel music. That’s Hunger Games. Anyway, come here. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Come here. All right, let me tell you about these cheddar biscuits. These cheddar biscuits are so goddamn good. These cheddar biscuits were the best thing I made this entire time. Okay, this is too close. Hold on. I don’t like this. Get out of here. Is it Red Lobster that has the cheddar biscuits? I’ve never had those. I love these so much. These were so so good. These were like one of the first savory things I made and oh boy does that hit different. Again, all of the sweet things were tasting the same and this actually tasted like something different and it blew my [ __ ] mind. So, I will say from my years of watching like cooking videos, I do know that with biscuits, you have to keep the butter really cold and you’re supposed to like freeze them beforehand and stuff so that they don’t all spill out. The recipe did not say anything like that, but I use my little baker’s intuition and I put them in the freezer beforehand. I don’t know if that was necessary. I read through all the comments and no one said that theirs got [ __ ] up. Um, but I did that. So, I’m just telling you how that worked. They work well with vegan cheese because they don’t like melt all over the place. immediately ate like half the batch and then I put the rest of them in the freezer so I could give them to other people without me eating them. I love these cheddar biscuits so much. I’m going to make these again. I want these right now. Oh yeah. Don’t think I’ve had a cheddar biscuit before. They’re [ __ ] great. Oh, [ __ ] yeah. All right. However, I reacted before to the cheddar biscuits, it wasn’t enough. These things are [ __ ] incredible. I don’t care if you make anything else. Make the [ __ ] cheddar biscuits. These are so goddamn good. Let’s go. I I have nothing new to say. They’re just delicious. I love them. Nine and a half. Easy. Done. Go make these. Next up, the whole G Whole game. I’m a whole game. Anyway, whole grain pumpkin banana bread. This is like exactly what you would expect from a quick bread recipe. It tastes like generic quick bread, which is good. I don’t want that to sound like it’s a negative. Um, it’s definitely a positive. It’s good. There’s just nothing super special about it. I will say while it does taste like generic quick bread, it does not in fact taste like every generic pumpkin recipe that I’ve made so far, which does set it apart, which I do appreciate. Just sort of bread flavor. You know, this is as like unoffensive as possible. Taste tastes like bread. Pumpkin spice granola. I was expecting this recipe to just be like pumpkin spice, not actual pumpkin. There’s actual pumpkin in this. It was kind of [ __ ] awesome. I am a little bit of a granola connoisseur once again with the pancakes. I make the same granola every single week and I eat it all the time and it’s quite good. It’s kind of boring. However, this one uh did have a good amount of like flavor and texture to it. Um but it also like wasn’t super sweet or spicy. I will say this recipe, it told you to bake it for like an hour and a half. I baked it for like 45 minutes and it was already kind of burnt. I don’t know what’s up with that, but I think that added to it not being as flavorful. I’m definitely going to try putting pumpkin in my granola now because I’m gonna I’m gonna have a lot of pumpkin and I need some way to use it. So, that’s a good a good little lesson for me to learn. It It didn’t say what to serve this with, so I just put it in like yogurt. I also don’t like yogurt, but that’s fine. It’s fine. It’s fine. Okay. It’s really good. It’s not that sweet considering it has a lot of sugar in it. Um, but it is good. Pretty good. Next up, the pumpkin espresso bunt cake. This one was quite fun. I added a little rum soak to it. I love the rum. I don’t love rum. However, it is good in some recipes. Um, the soak did give it like a really nice like moist texture. I did make this recipe at like 3:00 a.m. uh because the next day I had to get on a plane uh to go visit some friends. Had to. Got to. Anyway, just if anyone’s wondering, you can in fact bring a cake on a plane. Uh, however, everyone at the airport and TSA and on your flight will want to talk to you about the cake. I had at least like three middle-aged ladies come up to me like smiling, all chatty, be like, “Is that cake for someone special?” And I’m just sitting there like, “Yeah, it’s for my friend.” They’re like, “What a lucky friend.” Little did they know that it was for the specialist man that I know. His name is Shirou. I love him dearly. Anyway, this cake was also very good. Didn’t taste too much like coffee. Didn’t taste too much like rum. However, was in fact very good. Ah, yes. The pumpkin streusel coffee cake or as I like to call it, the KMS coffee cake. Why do I call it that? All right, so uh little update on the uh coffee cake. I wish I was dead. My notes for this just say, “God hates me.” I think about this cake all the time and it stresses me out. Spent so much time making this cake. I put so much effort into it. I put it in the oven. I baked it perfectly. I pulled it out when the timer comes off. I think, “Oh, the topping could use a little bit more browning.” I put it back in the oven, turned the broiler on for like, I don’t know, a minute. I take it out of the oven. I [ __ ] flounder it and just drop it face down on the concrete. And the worst thing about it is that I greased this pan so well that the entire cake just fell out onto the cement. No. I was so upset about this. I’m still upset about this quite frankly. I just sat outside and stared at it for like I don’t know 20 minutes because I’m not going to waste food and also just love throwing a good pity party. Um, I scooped this thing up onto a pan and [ __ ] ate it. And let me tell you what, it was delicious. It was so goddamn good. There were some other people at my house who I was going to give this to and I was so upset about it. But they still ate it and they were like, “That was a good [ __ ] coffee cake.” And they were right because it was good. We ate it off the [ __ ] ground and it was so goddamn good. I’ve eaten worse things in my life. I will make this again. I will redeem myself because it really it really was a good coffee cake. Anyway, I wrote down that this should be like an eight and a half. I’m going to I’m going to bump this up. This deserves a nine. I ate it off the [ __ ] ground and I remember it fondly. I don’t remember it fondly. I don’t know why I said that, but the cake was good. Uh, next up we have the cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls. Okay, so I made these two at the same time basically because they had the same dough and I was getting lazy and also I wanted to eat more cinnamon rolls right then. So, I made both the cinnamon swirl pumpkin rolls and the maple pumpkin rolls at the same time. Also, every time I make cinnamon rolls, uh, they end up tasting like [ __ ] So, I have a bad track record with those. However, these ones did me pretty good. Uh, the cinnamon swirl pumpkin rolls were real [ __ ] good. I wrote down that they were delicious without having like that like Cinnabon death feeling to them. You know how when you eat a Cinnabon, like as you’re eating it, you’re like, “This is incredible.” And then 20 minutes later you’re like you’re like I wish for death. Uh it was like that but just the good part of that which was awesome. Love that. I think it could use a little cream cheese frosting. I will say that a lot of these had cream cheese frosting. I think this could have used a little cream cheese frosting. The maple pumpkin rolls. They were good. However, they did not taste that much like maple. I would like them a little bit more mapley if I might say so myself, but they were still good. And it also did have like a cream cheese filling. Um, I think the cream cheese filling once again would be better with like regular cream cheese instead of the vegan one cuz the vegan one doesn’t have that like, you know, soury tang. Still good. Still liked it. I want more maple. Anyway, these get a like eight and a half and eight, respectively. Next up, the smooth and spicy pumpkin pie. Another baking issue that I constantly have is pie crust. I don’t make that much pies because I don’t know how to make pie crust. Every single recipe I find is different. And it’s either like you bake it for like 20 minutes or you bake it for like two hours. Which one is it? Why are they all so different? However, the crust that I made for this recipe is absolutely perfect. This was the best pie crust I’ve ever made in my life. It quite frankly, I’m only going to make this pie crust from now on. It was so good. It was like very easy to make. We’re set. I don’t have to go searching anymore. I I got my pie crust recipe down. As for like the pie filling itself, this one This one’s a little bit of a copout. I do have a little bit of beef with the author of this recipe because the spice measurements that you give, it’s like you could do this or you could do double the amount of spice. It’s like you pick one. I don’t want you to make me pick one. I’m looking for you to give me a recipe. I don’t want to have to make the recipe myself. I know that I can change the spice level of anything that I want at any time. I have free will for now. However, just give me your spice level. Anyway, it was quite good. I did the maximum amount of spice for everything. Next up is the pumpkin ginger snap cheesecake. Let me tell you, I have not had cheesecake in maybe like six years now. This cheesecake was so good, dude. Like, the flavor was great, the texture was great, the spices were great, the sweetness was great, everything about this was great. It does call for eggs. When you’re making like a vegan like pie or cheesecake, I usually substitute in cornstarch instead of like a flax egg. So, in place of the I think five eggs that it calls for, I used 7 tablespoons of cornstarch and six tablespoons of water. Um, and that worked out really great. I also used Kiteill brand cream cheese. Some cream cheeses you can bake with, others you cannot. Kiteill does work great for baking. Uh, so you can make cheesecake out of those. Uh, next up, the pumpkin chocolate chip cake. I swear to God, the people at King Arthur Flower have [ __ ] stock in the chocolate industry because they always call for so much chocolate to be put into their recipes. Look, I love chocolate as much as the next person. There is a thing as too much chocolate in a recipe. Not like flavor-wise, but like financially speaking and also at some point it does impact like the structural stability of whatever you’re baking. This recipe has too much [ __ ] chocolate in it. Look, like the flavor of this thing, great. It had like some good texture with the chocolate in it. I said it’s very like claggy, but in a good way. And why? It’s cuz there’s so much chocolate in there. This Oh my [ __ ] god. This recipe calls for 454 g of chocolate. Added in an entire bag of chocolate chips, and that was like half of the chocolate that I was supposed to put in. As is with like half the amount of chocolate, it was pretty much like falling apart. There’s a difference between having a cake with chocolate chips in it and having chocolate chips slightly coated in cake batter. You know, there’s a happy in between of those. This would be like more towards the chocolate chip with cake batter coating. Hello. Lunch cake. I’m pretending like I didn’t eat half this cake yesterday. Good. If I put more chocolate in this, there would have been way too much chocolate. I stand by my conspiracy theory that King Arthur don’t stop the [ __ ] chocolate industry. There’s too much chocolate. I love chocolate. All right. This is not like a I don’t like chocolate situation. They’re [ __ ] telling you to put way too much chocolate in this [ __ ] I’m on to you people. Send me chocolate. Next up, another one of the recipes that they recently added is the uh easy pumpkin muffins. And I’ll just say they have the most perfect texture I have ever experienced in my life for a muffin. It was just like, oh so good. I could have cried over the texture of this muffin. I don’t even know like what it was, but it was just it was so good. It was like so soft and airy, but like held together well. Also, uh the like little sugar topping and the seed topping really gave it like a nice little like crunch, which added nicely to like the spongy texture of the cake. Next up, the pumpkin basque cheesecake. I was on a cheesecake roll. I didn’t know if I was going to make this one cuz I’ve never made a Basque cheesecake and I also didn’t know if it would be possible with a vegan cream cheese. However, I [ __ ] around and I found out. Turns out you can make it. This was really good. The cake itself was a little bit sour um but like in a good way. It was like tangy, you know, and the texture on there was also really good. This recipe also did freak me out because when you’re reading it, it’s like you have to bake it for the perfect amount of time. It’s like if you underbake it, you’re [ __ ] If you overbake it, you’re [ __ ] You have to get it at the perfect time. So, I was just sitting in front of my oven like Great British Bake Off, like watching it, waiting. [Music] I did possibly overbake it a little bit. However, it is supposed to look burnt on top. I didn’t [ __ ] it up that badly. I swear. Okay, it it is supposed to look like that. Oh my god, so beautiful. It wasn’t like cheesecake texture and it wasn’t really cake texture. It was very interesting. It’s like a cheesecake without the crust. Have I already mentioned how cheesecakes are just pies? Uh, that’s another hill that I will [ __ ] die on. Cheesecakes are not cakes. They are pies. They have a crust. They have like a custardy filling. That’s a pie, baby. That’s not a cake at all. I’ll fight you on that one. Hello. Oh, baby. Up next, we have the pumpkin yeast bread. I’ll be honest, when I was looking at this bread, I was like, it’s just going to be regular bread, you know? Nothing special to it. This bread was so goddamn good. You’re absolutely right. There was nothing special to it. However, it was so goddamn delicious. Oh my god, it was like the perfect amalgamation of bread. I don’t even know how to describe this. It didn’t have like a dinner roll sweetness to it. It was like a little bit salty, but like very flavorful, but it was just like, oh, it was so good. It was very dense, but like in a good way. And I I sat and I ate like half of this loaf of bread straight away. It was so good. I’m I’m absolutely [ __ ] make this again. I’m making this bread again. I love this bread so much. Oh my god. I I dreamed about this bread. It was so easy. Everyone go make this bread. Wait a second. Hold the [ __ ] up. This bread’s real good. This is good [ __ ] bread. Oh my god. Basically just like sandwich loaf but better. Um, I love it. Next up, we have the pumpkin cream cheese danishes. Do my knees look like an ass? Pumpkin cream cheese danishes. These were good. However, they I don’t think that they justified all of the work that went into them. Um the dough was quite difficult to make. I think it could have been flakier, but I also think that was probably my fault. Again, uh vegan butter is a little bit hard to work with. It wasn’t that flavorful, so like they didn’t really end up tasting like much. I did have some extra uh cream cheese frosting that I put on top of these and they were [ __ ] great. Um but however, just as a recipe intended, they were they were okay. I don’t want to diss them. However, they were just okay. I’d give them like a seven and a half. Did I make these wrong or are they just kind of okay? [Music] Savory pumpkin ravioli. Oh my god, I love making pasta. These were so good. First of all, I love making pasta. Um, so these were really fun. 100% my fault. The dough definitely need to be thinner. They’re a little bit thick, a little bit chewy. Um, but they tasted really good. The filling was really delicious. Um, it called for like poultry seasoning. I don’t know what the [ __ ] that is. Uh, but it was good. I believe for this the pasta recipe that they intended for you to use does have eggs in it. However, King Arthur Flower also has a vegan pasta recipe that’s super easy. So, I just switched those out and made that one instead. Uh, it tasted really good. Also, I think for the recipe itself, it just said to like serve them plain or with butter. However, the pasta recipe said to make like uh sage butter and so I did that with these and oh, it was so good. Sage and pumpkin go so well together. The filling is delicious. I I would make these again. I would make them a little bit thinner. I make them thinner and I need to cook them longer. However, it was a great start. I really like them. I love pasta. Ravioli. Ravioli. Give me the formoli. Fudgy chewy pumpkin cookies. these. Okay, you know how I’ve been saying that like everything doesn’t really have that much spice flavor? These ones were so spicy. The spice was there. It was palpable. They were really good. I really liked the like sugary crunchy topping that was on there. It added like a nice texture to it. They weren’t as chewy as I would have expected. However, that’s totally my bad. That was my bad. I [ __ ] up a little bit. But again, they were really good. Uh, next up, pumpkin pearl sugar waffles. This recipe specifically called for you to use like a certain type of pearl sugar. Um, that’s kind of the whole thing about them. I couldn’t find it in any stores near me. Uh, it does say you can just use like sugar cubes, but it’ll be a little different. I use the sugar cubes. Kind of made a [ __ ] mess. My bad. I don’t know if I [ __ ] up the batter or if that’s just how it’s supposed to be, but like it wasn’t like batter. It was like dough. Like it was real thick. Making these in a waffle iron does absolutely [ __ ] up your waffle iron. Um, I gave myself a sugar burn with them. Once again, my bad. I was being an idiot. They were really tasty. I will give you that. Uh, however, as soon as like they cool down and the sugar starts to harden, they get real chewy and your jaw gets real sore from chewing on them. So, you know, just be aware of that. Anyway, they were quite good. I’d give it like a 7 and a half. I’ll be real. 99% of the time. And by 99% of the time, I mean every single time, except for um I just eat waffles with my hands. It is undercooked in the center. Oh, that’s my bad. But it tastes really good. It’s good. I like it. Uh-oh. Guess who has to clean this up? And because I ate all that sugar, I’m so tired. It’s been like 10 minutes and I’m ready for a nap. Next up, the pumpkin. Pumpkin. Pumpkin. Every time in my head I think of pumpkin, I just sound like Cartman. Is that the guy from South Park? Someone’s like pumpkin. Flawless impressions as always. Anyway, uh the pumpkin sunflower harvest bread. Okay, this recipe, if you’re going to make it, just know that the written instructions make absolutely no sense. They do have a recipe that you can follow that like tells you how to shape it. That is very helpful. I had to watch that cuz I I had no [ __ ] clue what was going on. I followed the instructions exactly as they were written and this thing burned. I don’t know if that’s like my oven’s problem or what. Um, but it wasn’t as flavorful as it could have been again because it burned. This one had a really fun shape to it. It’s like a little stock of wheat with all of like the fun little toppings on there, the seeds, the spices, those all burned in the oven, so it didn’t taste that great. Um, I think I’ll probably try it again. See if it comes out any better. I’ll give it like an eight. That’s pretty generous. I think it could be a lot better. Wait, wait, wait. Oh, yeah, baby. Uh, next up, pumpkin bread pudding. I love some pumpkin bread pudding. Um, this one, the like texture was great, the flavors were great. I really did like it. The recipe for the pumpkin yeast bread makes two loaves of bread. One of the loaves I ate raw dog. The second loaf I made specifically for the pumpkin bread pudding because it says that you can use that bread for the pumpkin bread pudding. Made it out of that bread and it was very good. However, it was not as pumpkiny as I was expecting it to be. It was kind of light on the pumpkin flavor. Um, it does also say that you can serve this with ice cream. I think it would be better without the ice cream. I think if you put like a little bit of whipped cream on there, that would be better because at least the way I had it, it wasn’t like pumpkin bread pudding with a little bit of ice cream. It was like ice cream with something underneath it, you know? I think if you just had a little bit of whipped cream, it you’d get more of like the bread pudding experience. Next up, pumpkin cream cheese roll. Every single time I look at this, I think it’s one of the cinnamon rolls. It is not. It is in fact a roll cake. I’ve never made a roll cake before. This recipe was not vegan. And this recipe called for a pan that I did not own, so what could go wrong? Turns out nothing. I’m a [ __ ] baking god, and I’m great at making roll cakes. It did have one big crack in it, but hey, got to keep me humble somehow. Um, the spices in this were delicious. The cream cheese frosting was really good. This definitely did get better the next day. The first day that I made it, it was like a little bit wet and gummy from, you know, being vegan. However, I think the next day the all of the flavors kind of like mellowed and evened out. Um, and it had a lot better like texture and the cream cheese frosting inside was really quite good. Um, also it was like very easy to make. Roll cakes are [ __ ] easy. Like what do you want me to do? Sign me up for bake off. Uh, next up, the gluten-free pumpkin scones. I don’t know. Have I ever had a scone before? Debatable. However, um, these were really good. These did call for cinnamon chips. I couldn’t find cinnamon chips anywhere, and I’m not getting them on [ __ ] Amazon. However, luckily enough, by the time I made this, it was like September, so they’re starting to roll out the pumpkin spice stuff. So, I just had like pumpkin spice chips. And oh, are those delicious. These scones, they’re not like super flaky. Um, but they did taste really good. And since there’s no gluten in them, they still have like that nice like delicate texture to them, which I think turned out great. The spice chips in there and the crystallized ginger really like make the flavor of this pop. It was extremely good. Also, I did give some of these to a non-gluten-free person and they still said that this was one of the best scones that they’ve ever had. So, hey, big win for my celiac freaks out there. Uh, next up, the pumpkin crinkle cookies. These cookies were so good. I Oh my god, I loved these cookies so much. First of all, these cookies looked good. The ones I made looked a little [ __ ] up. The ones in the picture look great. The ones I made looked a little bit [ __ ] up. However, still really good. It was like the perfect balance of like spices and sweetness to there. The texture was like super soft, but it’s not like cakey. It’s like a good soft cookie. And I’m What can I say? I’m making these again. I love them. I ate like half of them straight out of the oven, and I ate the other half while playing Hades. Hell yeah, brother. Oh, these are so lovely. Oh my god. Really? So good. Next up, pumpkin hollow bread. Uh this hollow bread was really good. Look, it didn’t look good, but it tasted good. The the looks part is on me. All right, I [ __ ] it up. It does look a little bit like a turd. However, it was really good. The texture was like super soft um with like a little bit of crust on the outside, which was very nice. Um, it wasn’t super flavorful, I think. Oh, hi Marley. What’s up, pumpkin? Anyway, this one, it wasn’t like super flavorful. However, it was still good. It did just kind of taste like slightly elevated plain bread, though. But yeah, it was really good. I really liked it. All right, just so we’re all on the same page, uh, this right here is not my best work. It’s so flat. It does not look good. Um, that is entirely my fault. Today’s been an off day for baking. Hi. Would you like some? I’m not the weak link. I’m not going to give you any. Uh, next up, the pumpkin swirl cake. First off, uh, I might have messed this one up a little bit. I was trying to get this done quickly and I didn’t read the recipe that you’re supposed to like section out half the batter and add sour cream to one half and the pumpkin to the other half. I just mixed it all together. Um, and then I figured that out. So, I had to I had to take out half the batter and then dye it a different color so it would still get the swirl effect. And then when I was stirring in all of the extra food coloring, I might have, you know, stirred it too much and made a little bit gummy, a little bit gloopy. However, cake itself still good. It had like good flavor to it. The texture again, a little gummy. That might have been my bad. It does call for either like a soak or an icing. I went with the icing. icing definitely necessary for like the boost of flavor and also a little bit of a textural difference there. I will give this an extra half point because I [ __ ] up, but it’s like an eight and a half out of 10. This is fully cooked. I don’t know what the issue was. I had to bake it an extra 15 minutes longer than it said it did, so it ended up baking for like an hour. So, the edges are a little dry, but overall good. Next up, my trouble with pies continue. Okay, so here’s the thing. I was trying to do a twoin one with this one uh because I was getting lazy and also trying to get in as many recipes as possible. I made the filling of the vegan pumpkin pie but with the crust of the gluten-free pumpkin pie crust. Yeah. However, there is an issue with this uh going back and forth between the two recipes. The baking instructions for the gluten-free pie crust does not match up one to one with the directions for the vegan pie crust. So, I just kind of guessed. And let me tell you, I guessed wrong. Once again, my impeccable track record with making pie crust fails me yet again. It did just kind of turn out completely raw. However, since it was gluten-free, I didn’t have any like stringy dough to deal with. It wasn’t horrible. It could have been worse. You definitely need to blind bake your pie crusts. Don’t don’t just raw dog it and pull pour the filling in there. You have to bake them first, okay? Don’t be like me. However, like the pie itself was really good. The texture of the pie, it was very like soft and creamy, like pudding-ike, but it wasn’t runny at all. Uh, so that was really good. I’m kind of ignoring the crust part of this cuz like that was my bad. So, like the vegan pie itself, I give it like an eight out of 10. Again, quite good. Uh, next up, the ginger pumpkin braid. Look, once again, the crystallized ginger [ __ ] makes or breaks any recipe that it’s in. The having the ginger in here is so good. It really gave it some like added like textural little bits when you bite into it. This one was also like quite dense, but again in a good way. The the density was a good thing. It’s a nice a nice dense bread. I know that doesn’t sound good, but like trust me, it was really good. It was also like really soft and had good flavor. I don’t think it would be as versatile as like the yeast bread that was my favorite. However, I do like braiding things. The braid looked pretty. So, still give it like a 9 out of 10. I’m a sucker for a good braid. Bro, that candy ginger. Oh. So good. I’m going to play Hades. Uh, next up we have the savory pumpkin rugalock, which I got some of right here, baby. This thing was actually like a sleeper hit. I’ll be quite honest. This was the last one that I started because I forgot about it. Ah, okay. Hi. Did you hear that? I have food. Come on up here. Come on up here. These things were like surprisingly really good. I didn’t think they were going to be that good, but they were. Also, first batch through making this absolutely [ __ ] it up. Um, my house may or may not have flooded the other day. So, uh, while that’s being fixed, there are fans going constantly and my house is sitting at like a constant 83° inside. For something, uh, that has like a buttered dough that, you know, needs to remain chill. It kind of melted while I was folding them up and turned into a disaster. My first batch of these were quite possibly one of the ugliest things I’ve ever made. I tried it again. I still had half of the dough left. So, I did this in like the middle of the night when it was as cold as possible. I rolled it up and like put it back in the fridge so that it could chill and like wouldn’t be just like soupy coming out of the oven and it made a whole difference. They could You can actually like see it has like somewhat of a little quissant shape to it. It’s got like defined layers. I really like this recipe. I would make them again. I think I might make some changes. I think I might uh take out some of the butter that’s in the dough because oh my god, there’s so much butter in there. Um and maybe like substitute some pumpkin in. But yeah, those are delicious. I love them. I ate like three of them straight out of the oven and then was burping all day long cuz there’s so much butter in them. Last but not least, we have the pumpkin cheesecake pie. Cheesecakes are pies. Straight up. I thought this one was going to be kind of a gimmick. Um because it’s like a cheesecake and a pie. It’s like choose one. All right, be less. However, it was very good. Having like the two layers of like different flavors and different textures was quite nice. The crust on this pie was so [ __ ] good. It had like a ginger snap crust to it. Oh, so good. Also, this is one that like it gets better the longer it sits in the fridge. The first day it was pretty good. Like the third day it was [ __ ] delicious cuz all of the flavors really like meld together. That one I would give a solid like eight and a half. And uh with that, those are all 50 of the little pumpkin things that I made in the last five months. In my brain, I don’t think I made that many. But also, I made a lot. Like, let’s be clear. All right, I’m editing the video. I’m going through the recipes again cuz, you know, just checking them, doing my little tallies. And what the [ __ ] do I find down here? New recipes. These were not here yesterday, [ __ ] I used the last of my pumpkin this morning because I checked and there weren’t any new recipes and then these showed up. I swear to God. Anyway, some uh final thoughts on everything that I made. Let’s be clear, none of these recipes were bad. I just happened to like some more than others. The best recipes by far were the cheddar biscuits. Go make those [ __ ] cheddar biscuits. Those were so delicious. I would say the pumpkin yeast bread and the the pumpkin chocolate crumb cake. Those were like easily the top three. They were delicious. Also, overall, I think I like the savory ones more because it was more of like a different flavor than generic pumpkin cake flavor. Um, as for least favorites, nothing against these recipes, but uh the ones that I [ __ ] hated are those goddamn donuts. I don’t like baked donuts. And al sorry, but also the uh the pumpkin mousse cake pie thing. Those were just okay. Again, I don’t think the pie one is for me. I don’t think the doughnut ones are for me. You might like them. That’s fine. Um, I do also want to give some honorable mentions to the gluten-free scones. Those were really good. Also, shout out to gluten-free recipes for being delicious. The uh easy pumpkin muffins for having the best texture of a muffin I’ve ever had in my life. Hi. Yes, I know. Uh, the soup. I think the soup was really good. I want to make that soup again and not add so much lime and pesto to it cuz my god, it just tasted like lime and pesto. And also the coffee cake. I ate that thing off the ground and it was still delicious. If anything, that should tell you how good of a coffee cake that is. So, I did learn some things from baking all of these. First one is uh the brand of vegan cream cheese you use really does matter. Some vegan cream cheeses are like flavor-wise good and some of them are able to be baked. You don’t get both of them. However, if you look at the ingredients for a cream cheese, if the first ingredient is like cashews or almonds or like some kind of like physical object, if it’s like a nut of some kind or like tofu, those can be used for baking. Those will not like melt into a puddle. If their main ingredient is like coconut oil or palm oil, those are just going to melt down and you’ll just have a very oily puddle and you’ll be very sad about it. Don’t use those for baking. Also, the freshness of your spices does in fact matter. Some of these that started to taste like nothing. I think it’s because I was using old spices. Um, so if you have them, you can still use them. You just have to add a little bit more spice to them. Besides that, crystallized ginger, that [ __ ] [ __ ] rocks. Add that to anything and it will make it better. It is very expensive. I’ll be clear. The crystallized ginger costs a lot of money. Oh my god. However, it really does make anything taste better. Also, King Art Flour, add some drinks. I want some hot chocolate. Anyway, uh if this is of any interest to you, I did some little calculations earlier today and I have come up with some totals for the ingredients that I used for this. You might be interested to find out that across all of these 50 recipes, I used a total of 96.5 teaspoon of spice. Now, those were all of the sweet spices. I didn’t count any of the ones used in the savory dishes, but like you know, pumpkin pie spices, I used 96.5 teaspoon. That is also 2.4 cups of spices or 6 lb. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but think about how much spices weigh. That’s a lot of spice. For cream cheese, I used a total of 119 oz or 14.9 cups or 7.4 lb of cream cheese. And rounding it all out, four pumpkin. The main event, I used a total of 58.4 cups of pumpkin, which equates to 3.6 gallons or 29 pounds of pumpkin. I ate 29 pounds of pumpkin, and I did not pay for a single goddamn pumpkin. I got them all out of dumpsters. If you can take away anything from this, it is that uh you should go go bake some little pumpkin things. And also, if you want some free pumpkins, come here. Come here. Come to papa. Hey. Hey. Little secret for you. If you want some free pumpkins, all you got to do is wait till Halloween is over. Wait till Thanksgiving is over. Start looking in some garbage cans that are out on the curb. If they’re out on the curb, the police can legally look through them, which means I can legally look through them. All right. Go dumpster diving. Find some pumpkins that people put in their yard waste bins. All right. Take them home. Cook them up. Eat them. It’s edible food that is in fact going to waste.
