Basically im propping up my crockpot because i realized both legs on one wide were missing. Literally have no idea how or when.
Im just wondering if its safe for me to be using this oven mitt to hold it there.
Considering its made for the oven id say yes but im also a little nervous because its going to be there for 8 hours.

Does that area get hot? Personally, I wouldn’t risk it at all. The oven mitts are good for short use to grab something hot and put it down quickly, you can still feel heat through a mitt if something is hot enough. I’d look online for a replacement leg or something else that wouldn’t catch fire
crockpots are cheap enough to replace before the house is on fire
