Had a debate with friends where has better BBQ in USA. Team LA or Team NYC/NJ. LA korean BBQ was amazing but after trying in Fort Lee… the quality of the beef is too good to be true

mannn i just wanna live somewhere that has more korean food. the closest i can get good kbbq (besides at home 😔) is texas. some kbbq places have been opening here but all of them have insane pricing like LA or NYC for no reason

Fort Lee and the surrounding neighborhoods is basically full Koreatown suburbia with Sunday church service.
DVNCIA
I think the quality of the beef is city agnostic and it really depends on the restaurant and price point you’re comparing. If someone tried to tell me KBBQ in NYC is better than LA and they were basing it off of Cote vs. Gen in LA, I’d find that comparison pretty silly.
