Went to a great Lebanese restaurant in Lisbon last night, Touta. Was delighted to see this: tucked into the kitchen, a BGE.

They used it during service as a grill. No idea if they slow smoke things for prep or not.

Ever seen a BGE in a restaurant kitchen like this?

This is much more common in Europe. In the states, if people want a wood grill, they get a wood grill. if they want a smoker, they get a smoker.

Alain Ducasse’s 3 Michelin Star restaurant at The Dorchester has a MiniMax in the kitchen.

Saw one in Amsterdam. They actually had a ‘From the Big Green Egg’ section on the menu.

The Sergeantsville Inn in central NJ uses a mini max for their steaks and burgers. Incredible restaurant, the chef is Sean Gray formerly of Momofuku Ko.
