Thoughts on this? Has anyone tried it before?

  1. Sorry to comment even though I haven’t tried it, but I did want to call out that the macros on these aren’t really different than other frozen chicken products. I saw the nugget version of this at Costco and compared it to Kirkland nuggets and it was the same nutritionally, though of course Kirkland’s were cheaper. And delicious, imo, so I stick with them.

  2. The Just Bare ones are infinitely tastier IMO. Chicken tendies and an air fryer are an excellent combo in all sorts of brands tho. Tendies and salad mix are my easy button go to for lunch.

i opt for Kirkland Nuggets or Just Bare instead, the breading on these taste like cardboard to me

  4. bamboohygiene

I like those more than other frozen brands I have tried tbh. I’ve never gotten any weird bits in them

  5. They’re ok i was buying bags of them often for easy meals but after awhile I got so bored of them. I’d get some bags of them that had way too much grissle in them and after awhile I couldn’t stomach them

It made me crave cooking my own chicken breast and tasting home cooked meals again. Idk juat after awhile you want to cook something I get depressed just eating air fried food from the frozen section

  6. Honesty_Lion

They are alright but prefer Just Bare! They also have fillet versions, spicy and bites

I don’t know if others would agree, but the texture of Realgood chicken (I’ve tried a few different types) is so weird to me, and it kinda kills it for me.

I really like the Just Bare chicken. Be warned, though, because their spicy tenders have some heat to them.

  8. A lot of people seem to prefer just bare but I found them to be of a wet sponge consistency. I like the real good ones, my go to for that kind of stuff. I think it really does come down to personal preference. I’d try and see. I found they are best air fried

  9. smellslikedesperate

I really like them! Super tasty, but I can see now why some other comments called out the texture of these. They’re a little weirdly chewy sometimes, if that makes sense.

  10. reallytiredarmadillo

i got a bag of the nuggets once and there was weird gristle and rubbery bits in like… every other nugget 🙁 idk if it’s the same with the tenders but i am not gonna go buy a bag to find out

They are good except the tiny pieces, they have a gross texture but my pups had good treats for a bit lol

  12. psychd2behere

These had a very bizarre texture for me. They were hard and rubbery and the breading was almost powdery? I did not like them. The Kirkland chicken breast chunks are the best frozen chicken nuggets I’ve ever had.

I love these! The coating is a little crumbly tho so in my opinion they don’t make great finger food. I like them with a salad or veggies for easy lunches at work

These in the air fryer, on some low calorie tortillas with franks red hot and maybe a sprinkle of blue cheese. Amazing

  15. 7basketballs

I’m down about 20 lbs since May and I have these to thank. They’re not super great on their own, but I air fry these and put them into wraps for a low calorie/high protein meal.

  16. indiapiggy

I just tried them Friday and I hate them. The texture of the chicken is almost like a fish stick. It’s so spongy and gross imo.

  17. melanonn_

i hated these i had to force myself to finish the bag. the texture and taste was off to me. imo just bare is the best frozen chicken, the costco brand for lightly breaded chicken chunks is great too !

  18. tulipskull

i bought a bag of these and they’re fine. i’m not sure if i would buy them again though the breading has a kind of weird flavor to me

  19. Outrageous_Rough6201

Really good, I make chicken Pattie’s with them, better macros then just bare and cheaper, just bare has gotten so expensive

  20. Past-Jellyfish1599

I keep hearing mixed reviews. Some people say they’re amazing and others say they’re terrible 😭

  21. personally I thought they were kinda nasty. ketchup made them tolerable.

  22. TheProletariatPoet

My son likes this brand better than Just Bare because this brand tastes more like fried chicken to him

  23. Overdose08

I’ve tried the Just Bare nuggets because they closely resemble Chick Fil As. But obviously these are better macros but taste thick apparently.

  24. Honestly I havent seen this before, the macros are really good compared to the other breaded chicken ones I’ve seen

  25. anormalgeek

RealGood brand food are generally pretty bad.

  26. Gritts911

I found these to be amazing, for the first 4 bites or so.

Then they just started tasting dry and have a weird burned fryer oil taste. I haven’t bought them again.

  27. Oregonrider2014

I alternate between these and just bare.

Great easy dinner to air fry that and some broccoli or a sweet potato

  28. 0___ThrowAway___0

It tastes like eggs to me and threw them away! Just Bare is infinitely better.

  29. No-Access-5468

they’re rly good with a low carb tortilla wrap and hot sauce! OR on a salad with romaine lettuce, plain greek yog, dijon mustard, lemon juice, and pepitas!

  30. AReallyFluffyBunny

Personally I don’t think they taste that good as they are but I like them chopped up in wraps with sauce!

  31. Stoplookinatmeswaan

I actually love them and am so sad I’ve only found them at Costco

  32. retro-girl

I am gluten free so I haven’t had the just bare! I prefer these slightly over the caulipower I think.

  33. AmazingApplesauce

They were good but for a while they were too big of pieces! Hopefully they fixed it! Costco has a big bag!
