


I've never been a fan of barbacoa, but what the government of Tonanitla, México State served yesterday was really not bad. A nice gordita de frijol; a consomé that was flavorful, not greasy on the lips, with garbanzos, diced onion, and chile; barbacoa that was not greasy and even had a bit of smokey flavor , and a very tasty red sauce. I didn't go near the green. Also the panza was not bad.
