Hear me out, this is vanilla ice cream, the original version
It was originally tan/light brown because of fresh egg yolks and vanilla beans, I did it that way (also used brown sugar and a little molasses, got the idea from a comment on the Threads app).

I love brown sugar ice cream buts its definitely brown sugar ice cream, not vanilla.
They are different bases with massively different flavors that go best with different mix ins and toppings
