Been here 3x since they opened on 3rd ave. Tip come during lunch weekdays around 2. They said it was an hour wait but we waited about 20 minutes only. By the time we left there was no line.
Pictured: 1. Sticky rice with caramelized pork belly, pate and bunch of sides. 2. Sizzling beef with pate and runny egg. So good with their homemade bread. 3. Ribeye steak banh mi with pickled greens. Delicious!

One day I will eat here. The lines scare me

I was underwhelmed by their food.

The pork banh mi was delicious. Best pickled carrots and daikon Iβve had in a banh mi

I also came for lunch today and had the scallop dish- the sauce it came with plus the fresh bread is one of the best bites I’ve had in some time. I got there around 12:40 and the wait was 40 minutes. I’ve been a longtime fan of their uptown location but this one definitely has the advantage on bread and noodles. The pho uptown is just ok but the one I had today was so great

Ate there for the first time tonight. The line was a little intimidating, but it was well worth it. The pork Bahn mi was phenomenal.

Did they change their menu? Went to their pop up a while back and it was lackluster

Each bite carried me across oceans to the vibrant streets of Vietnam. I could almost hear the distant hum of scooters and smell the night markets. A curious feat, considering Iβve never set foot there.

did this place just open? i feel like every platform iβm on is talking about this place

Itβs good but a little over hyped. IMO the excitement is more a reflection of how weak the Vietnamese food scene is in NYC. The catfish is overpriced af for like 5 nuggets and the bun cha veggie complements were disappointing
