This final October weekend in Singapore promises new discoveries and sensory indulgences for the curious and the discerning—read on for GRAZIA Singapore’s guide to making the most of what the city has to offer in the next couple of days.
Start your weekend with a deep dive into art and craftsmanship—first with a surrealist look into the local arts scene with the Singapore Art Museum’s How To Dream Worlds, and subsequently with a dazzling retrospective exhibition by high jewellery giant Graff. On the culinary front, The St. Regis Singapore debuts a charming taste of Italian hospitality with Sophia, and the Irish Food Board presents us with an alternative, cultural route through Halloween.
Friday Night: Enter A Waking Dream At The Singapore Art Museum
Ahead of the launch of the Singapore Biennale next week, dive into the local arts scene at the Singapore Art Museum. SAM’s Contemporaries series is an initiative aimed at documenting and bolstering the city’s arts and culture scene, and its second edition showcases commissions from six local artists pushing boundaries. Titled How To Dream Worlds, the works are both surreal in their imaginings and grounded in the reality and research of each of the contributors. Budding engineer Chok Si Xuan’s works explore cybernetics and the melding of man and machine, while artist and educator Lee Pheng Guan takes a distinctly natural route by showcasing gardens and landscapes. Start your weekend with a healthy dose of surreality at SAM.
How To Dream Worlds runs till 16 November at the Singapore Art Museum, 39 Keppel Road, #01-02 Tanjong Pagar Distripark, Singapore 089065.
Saturday Afternoon: Marvel At Graff’s Dazzling Exhibition Celebrating 65 Years Of Craftsmanship
Graff has been synonymous with excellence and craftsmanship in fine jewellery for 65 years, and this month, they’re inviting us to celebrate this legacy with a dazzling retrospective showcasing some of their most spectacular creations. The ION Art Gallery has been transformed into a glimmering display of Graff’s history of gemstone and diamond mastery, and the carefully designed space fittingly resembles a museum more than a jewellery store. Each carefully crafted design shines—but the spotlight, of course, is trained firmly on the Graff Infinity Tiara, which showcases the stunning 57.80 carat Infinity Diamond. Take in the stone’s glimmering facets for yourself at ION Orchard this weekend.
Graff’s 65th Anniversary Celebration is located at the Ion Art Gallery, Level 4, Ion Orchard, 2 Orchard Turn, Singapore 238801.

Halloween in Singapore usually brings a flurry of themed raves, glittery costumes, and cocktails with spooky names. This October, why not step away from the party circuit and dive into the cultural origins of the holiday? The Irish Food Board is partnering with seven premier Singapore restaurants to present a month-long culinary exploration of Samhain, the ancient Irish harvest festival said to be the precursor to Halloween. Singaporean culinary mainstays like Cygnet and Ummi are offering exclusive dishes that celebrate and honour Irish produce such as grass-fed beef, Atlantic oysters, and tender duck. The month-long celebration of Irish cultural heritage is the perfect opportunity to expand your culinary horizons.
A Taste of Ireland: Samhain Edition runs from 15 October to 15 November at Cygnet, Carnaby, UMMI Beirut, Boaters’ Bar at One15 Sentosa Cove, Brasserie Astoria, and Morsels.

No one does luxury quite like Hermès—and the French brand’s Silky Lipstick Shine products and quietly surprising fragrances are every bit as indulgent as their famed leathers and scarves. Luckily for those of us who can’t resist their signature blend of beauty and craftsmanship, Singapore has the honour of hosting Hermès’s first-ever perfume and beauty store in Southeast Asia. The boutique offers a space entirely dedicated to the entire Hermès beauty and fragrance product range, including the Twilly perfumes with their jaunty ribbon ties and powdery soft lipsticks in a kaleidoscope of colours. Step into the carefully crafted space for an immersive and personalised look into Hermès’s complete beauty offerings.

Sunday Night: Take A Culinary Tour Through Italy At Sophia
(Photo: The St. Regis Singapore)
With its latest culinary offering, The St. Regis Singapore brings a taste of Italian countryside charm and hospitality to the heart of Singapore, giving us a perfect way to round off a weekend of exploration and indulgence. The newly launched Sophia boasts a menu drawing inspiration from over 11 different Italian regions, constructed and overseen by head chef Angelo Sergio, a Puglia native. Fresh produce and rich flavours meld in a number of dishes that each capture a different facet of the art of Italian dining and hospitality. Think a selection of fluffy focaccias to start with, followed up with a slow-simmered pappardelle al ragú, and a fittingly spectacular finale in the form of a 1 kg grilled Angus beef T-bone.
Sophia is located at 29 Tanglin Road, The St. Regis Singapore, Singapore 247911.
