Roll it or bowl it–either way, it’s going to be good at this restaurant.
Shawerma Bite, a popular “build-your-own” Mediterranean concept here in Central Ohio, is opening their third local restaurant. The first opened on campus, gaining immediate popularity, then they opened in Dublin, and now, an Easton restaurant is on its way, located in the old Dragon Donuts at 4100 Worth Ave.
Shawarma is one of the most popular items in the entire Middle East–think of it as a hamburger or hot dog here in America–and this restaurant has dedicated its entire brand to this marinated meat. They’re known for preparing their shawarma 24 hours in advance, marinated in a specialty sauce until all of the meat is fully saturated. Then it’s placed onto the skewer and onto the vertical oven. And lastly, it’s wrapped in a pita or a bowl, all for you to enjoy.

At Shawerma Bite, choose your base (rice, pita, salad, tortilla), then your protein (chicken shawarma, steak shawarma, falafel, shiesh tawook, gyro), and some fresh toppings (lettuce, tomato, hummus, tabouleh, and much more), then top it off with a house made sauce (garlic, tahini, tzatziki, and more).
Sides include hummus and pita, pita chips, baba ghanoush, and french fries.
Shawerma Bite has not yet said when they’ll be opening their Easton location, but their website says “Coming Soon.”
