This place is delicious. I usually take my friends and family here if they’re not comfortable with Korean food.

I frequently went to Bom for bibimbap. Always fresh and delicious

  3. It’s one of our favorite places in Toronto. The food is soooooo good

While the preparations are fresh, this place is an awful representation of bibimbap. ZERO flavours, and textures are 3/10.
I’m sorry, and rarely hate on small biz. But this is not bibimbap and price higher or equal to similar or better. For a certain kind of eater (that I think goes here), near by, similarly priced (lower and/or much better quality – yes, even considering rent), cleaner, and brighter spots for FAR BETTER bibimbap -> Seoul Gamjatang and BapBo Korean.
TLDR: Bom BiBimbap isn’t by any means a representation of Korean (or even Korean fusion, diasporic, or flavourful version) food. BUT if you want warm/hot rice with a major grocery store, made-that-day version of “Korean rice bowl” with what you might imagine Heinz or Chef Boyardee “tweaks” on sauces to mush in the mix. Well, it’s here – very fresh, pretty, but doesn’t taste like any bibimbap you’d recognize as such.

Sorry I just have extreme distain because, yeh, I got had by pretty photos and rave reviews. Never again for me. Glad others support this small biz spot and suggest trying others to see how they compare. (I like actual bananas and candy with fake banana flavouring, also almonds and “almond” extract flavoured things. But i cringe at misnomers. Maybe you’ll like both?!)
