Admittedly I haven't made my way over to Moo's yet, I've been enjoying Bludso's, but hearing more from the team and seeing their amazing food is certainly making me want to run over soon!

Their burgers and smoked half chickens are surprisingly just as good as their brisket.

    Also, their desserts are fantastic.

It was definitely good but wow so expensive

Did anyone ever eat at the BBQ place at GCM? I’m just curious what bbq experts thought of it. I loved the tips but I don’t really know if they were considered good bbq.

Don’t bother even going here, you can’t even sit until you order your food. No consideration for the elderly.

Burger & Brisket was incredible. Sides and everything else weren’t memorable.

It’s sad that most of LA has to compare anything to Bludso.

I would recommend making the trip to San Clemente for Herritage BBQ.

Obviously Texas and North Carolina will be where it’s at.

not a fan of moo’s. the brisket was hella dry when I went. good bbq shouldn’t need sauce.

Andrew and Michelle are great people and their food is pretty damn good for LA bbq. Burt at Slab was doing great work when they were still open. Alan at As bbq does a great job, as does Brian at Fat Boys and Alex at AGL. Adam Perry Lang is obvs an all timer, but not cheap at all comparatively. Maple Block, honestly, Culver food isn’t bad, GCM is rough. Rudy is not on par IMO with the others mentioned here. Bludso’s I guess is fine? Phillips/Woodys not my jam personally, find the smoke to be acrid and the meat quality to be lacking a bit.

The Moo’s sides are not good but they have smoked turkey
