Two years ago I bought a used Oracle Touch. Then my Girlfriend got me an Eureka Mignon Zero for my birthday, which immediatly improved my shots by a lot, but now I had this huge machine for no real reason as we didn't use the built in grinder anymore. So after a few month more, I sold it and got this used Lelit Mara X V2. Super happy with the machine, heat up time is not a big issue for me as I have it hooked up to a smart plug, that I have set up via Home Assistant to turn on 25 minutes before my phone alarm. Also added a temperature and shot timer display using https://github.com/SaibotFlow/marax-monitor.git as a blue print. I set it up so i get the notification that the machine is hot via Home Assistant. If anybody is interested in the implementation let me know. Cost for the parts were arround 10$ on Aliexpress.
Really enjoy using the Mara a lot more than the Oracle touch, as I can play around with pre and post infusion.

Currently have a touch impress. And couldnt imagine heating the machine up 3-5 times a day, as well as manual grinding. I use the same beans as a friend with a manual setup and dont taste a big difference either. I guess I just love the convinience of the newer sage machines too much.
Congrats on the new setup, what a difference from where you have come. How long did it take you to dial in a good shot, and are they consistent now?
