I had to share my wife's incredible DIY project. She took an old, dusty bookshelf, removed the shelves, added a new beadboard/shiplap-style backing, painted it this gorgeous teal/aqua color, and wired in the lighting.
As Colombians and huge coffee lovers, drinking coffee multiple times a day is an absolute must in our home, so having a dedicated and beautiful space for it was a dream.
Every detail is her design, from the faux greenery to the little hanging buckets and the fun "Coffee, Anyone?" sign. It's the new centerpiece of our home and the envy of every coffee lover who visits.
I'm so proud of her work and wanted to show it off to people who would appreciate the effort and the importance of this little piece of functional art!

I wonder whats made at that station. Doesnt say anywhere. Jokes aside, she did a great job.
So this is playing in my head right now …
>OP tells everyone in their circle this story.
>Gets lots of praise.
>Invites a coffee geek to show off his new coffee station (proudly posted to r/espresso)
>Coffee geek happily accepts the invitation and visits OP’s house.
>Rounds the corner and … spots the **Keurig.**
Please take pictures, OP!
aw man… some of the best beans i’ve ever had have come from colombia.. have you considered upgrading from the keurig?
All of this for a Keurig… Needs an upgrade to match the station.
The only thing she made which isn’t great is the coffee itself 😂
Daddy Hoffman disagrees.

Class! It looks AMAZING!
Is your wife single by any chance?
All this for a Keurig.
Looks amazing. She did a great job! 👌
Why is this posted on an espresso subreddit? Last time I checked Keurig is dogshit. Also the coffee station is absolutely too gaudy for my taste but honestly makes sense with the Keurig setup.
