An ice cream shop with a fruity twist is changing things up.
Joey Jak’s Real Fruit Ice Cream at 2208 Market St. in Camp Hill announced Tuesday it is relocating after closing for the season on Nov. 23 following the Camp Hill Candy Cane Walk.
“We are deeply grateful for the incredible support from our neighbors and cherish every smile, every visit, and every sweet memory we’ve shared,” owner Kim Flinchbaugh shared in a Facebook post.
Flinchbaugh told PennLive she hopes to find a new location for the shop by spring 2026.
In 2024, she opened Joey Jak’s in a shared storefront with the former Tanya’s Cookie Boutique.
Joey Jak’s specializes in New Zealand-style ice cream in fruit flavors such as blueberry, strawberry and mixed berry. New Zealand-style ice cream is growing in popularity in the United States as shops such as Happy Cones Co. and Far Out Ice Cream open.
Unlike American ice cream, New Zealand-style is made by blending hard ice cream with frozen real fruit using a specially designed blender created exclusively for this purpose. The result is a fruity soft-serve ice cream.
In the post, Flinchbaugh urged customers with gift cards to use them by Nov. 23.
