All right. So, we know it’s been a while since we’ve made a video. Apologies. We’ll explain why. Um, but tonight’s video is going to be a cooking video. And tonight we are making muham. And we had never had this before until recently. If you’ve never had it before, it’s absolutely amazing. It rivals hummus. But it’s basically this dip that’s made up of essentially red peppers and walnuts and then some other spices. You can dip pita bread into it, vegetables, things like that. So good. So, and it’s really quick and easy to make. So, let’s get to it. [Music] [Music] So, before we dive into the recipe, I should probably explain why we haven’t made a video in a while. Um partly maybe a little bit of lack of motivation on somebody’s part. Been busy. We’ve been busy. Um all is well, all is good, but just definitely been busy. We have been traveling up the east coast. We’re doing kind of mid-Atlantic tour right now. Um and so we first came across this recipe when we were in Raleigh um at this awesome Lebanese restaurant downtown called City. Um which if you are local to Raleigh, definitely check it out. Absolutely delicious. Um but then we went over to um West Virginia for the region 4 rally. Awesome. Had a great time over there. Thanks to everybody there who bugged us to make another video. Um sorry it’s taken us even longer. But um Addin, I had to fly for work. Had to fly back home to handle a driver’s license issue, which you can read up on that on Instagram. But anyway, things feel a little bit more settled. So we are currently up in where are we? Maryland now. Ocean City, Ocean City, Maryland. Um, and we’re headed to DC in another week and so we’re really excited about that. We’ll be there for a couple weeks, so plenty of time to check out all the museums and other free stuff to do. So anyway, let’s get to the recipe. So for the Muhamm, there’s basically two key ingredients. There’s roasted red bell peppers and walnuts. For the red bell peppers, you can definitely buy fresh ones, roast them yourself if you’ve got some time or you feel so inclined. Otherwise, I have found doing the jar of them works just as well. Um, the recipe uses half a jar and so obviously drained, but works perfect. And then the walnuts. A couple of the other interesting ingredients that you might not have on hand that um we didn’t was there’s pomegranate molasses um which from what I have now learned is fantastic for salad dressings. It adds a little bit of sweetness. um sumac, which is another spice that has like a little bit of tang. Also really good to sprinkle on vegetables, um like roasted vegetables and stuff. And then the Aleppo pepper, which I did already have because you’ve seen that probably in a couple of our other recipes, but you might not have it on hand. Again, just another kind of spice, not quite as spicy as a um red pepper flake. kind of has a little bit of a paprika smoky flavor. But anyway, all of these spices just go so great into this recipe. It’s also got some olive oil, tomato paste, some breadrumbs or panko just to be able to kind of tighten it back up a little bit. Um, and we’re just going to throw it all in the food processor. And that’s it. It’s so good. [Music] Oh, sorry. [Music] [Music] [Music] Oh, [Music] hey. [Music] That’s this. [Music] All right, let’s see. Yeah, this looks like a really good consistency. You can see like it’s definitely like a solid dip. It’s not too runny. It’s not too thick. Let’s see what it tastes. I love this recipe so much. I can’t even describe to you the flavors. It’s obviously roasted red bell pepper, but there’s like a tang to it, slight sweetness. The breadcrumbs just help it all bind together so that it’s not like too liquidy. Oh my god, so good. [Music] Let’s get it plated. [Music] Okay, so this is just an example of how we’ve been plating it. Billy loves it with pa. I like it with cucumbers or carrots or something like that. But what’s really nice about this is you can make this and eat it right away. Like it doesn’t need to sit to kind of melt. It has all the flavors, but it also keeps for days. So, we just have it as like a snack in the afternoon. So, it’s so good. It’s better than hummus. Like, if you like hummus, you’ll love this. And you may never make hummus again. Anyway, check it out. I hope you make it. If you like content like this, let me finish eating. Okay, so try it out. Hope you like it. If you like this kind of content, please like and subscribe. It definitely helps us out and we promise we’ll be better about making more videos for you guys. So anyway, take care. See you guys down the road. [Music]
