I am of the opinion that onion powder is different than fresh onion and that some dishes benefit from both. It gives it depth and diversity in flavor, for me personally.

I don’t think I’m a snob, but how would that not be slimy and gross? How is it preserved?
Onions last ages in the pantry so it’s not like you would keep a jar handy as back-up… right?
