    I mean, you’re in the parking lot…

But also, fuck your neighbors. And cheers to you, fellow champagne enthusiast 🍻🥂

Can they take any legal action against you doing bbq outside on a parking lot in very safe distance of a building?

But also…. wauw I am happy with the decision to move to the country side. No people to interfere with what we are and are not doing.

What did they even complain about if youre not being loud or anything. Id keep goin honestly, I don’t think cops would ever care here

Roll it to the sidewalk or parking strip.

  5. gumballvarnish

I mean that’s pretty dang smokey for gas. what time is it?

+1 for bbq, but that’s a gray area pending on apartment policies, and most public areas don’t allow open flames such as parking lots.

  7. UnionCrafty3748

Shoulda bribed them with grilled food

    This guy’s determined lol

AITA is the thread you probably want an yes you probably are

Music blaring as well? Might be it’s not just the bbq bud

BBQ on your patio or balcony and ftn

i swear to god it seems some people get jealous if they see another person having fun or enjoying life and they’re not invited. Like it’s clear you live there, you’re far enough from the building where nothing is in danger of catching fire, there’s nowhere else on the property to grill. People should be allowed to enjoy things.

They just mad you put the high light bucket of beer next to bbq
    Mmmm warm beers lol

I remember your last post about being on your first floor porch and maybe trying it in the parking lot, glad to see you took advice and at least tried. Sorry your neighbors are assholes…seriously that’s so lame.

Maybe this is a good time to plan an apartment cookout next summer…get it all planned out awhile then invite everyone out and make friends.

This sounds like my coworker, they banned grills and small fire pits from his complex here in upstate NY

  16. AlbertaAcreageBoy

    Probably going in everyone’s windows.

  17. CummyMonkey420

Grilling under someone’s window is such a asshole move. Doesn’t matter that this is a parking lot

  18. Sensitive-Mouse8298

That’s a day time thing not a night time thing

  19. Hour-Professional329

I hope you ate some of the blue mushies too

I got tired of the awkwardness of grilling at my apartment complex and ended up moving to suburbia and getting a single family home. It’s so nice to grill in my back yard in peace with my dog. I know it’s not within everyone’s means and some people would rather die than move to a cultural wasteland but it made stuff like this much easier.

You should communicate with the neighbors that complained. Find out if it was the time of day, too much smoke, noise, whatever and try to work with them. Maybe offer up some pulled pork or something as a bribe. I seriously would do that, as I love to grill and I’d want my neighbors to be happy as well.

  22. chimpyjnuts

They’re just jealous your dinner smells better than theirs.

  23. Flat-Avocado-6258

I’ve never smelt someone bbqing and gotten mad about it lmao. If anything I’d be jealous

  24. RogerPenroseSmiles

It’s an apartment complex not your local tailgate. Either make enough money to have your own place and do what you like, or learn how to live in proximity to others.

Must be tough to be neighbors with such an entitled person. I’m glad you’re not my neighbor.
