All right, you guys. She’s back. And what are we going to do to ensure that when we have a Dubai chocolate craving, we don’t feel like, you know, making it ourselves and we don’t want to wait until Crumble decides to bring it back out. So, what’s the best thing to do? Freeze it. So, we’re going to see how this works. If you want to see how I’m going to freeze this, stay tuned and I’ll show you how. All right. Hello everyone. Welcome back to Journey with Char on this lovely Monday. As I come to you today, I’m so excited. This is going to be the quickest video ever known to man. Now, I have showed you all before how I freeze my crumble cookies. So, I wanted to come in because I am so happy. This is a special Monday. Why? No, not because it’s a day off. But y’all, the Dubai chocolate brownie is back in stock. And so I said to myself, I have got to get a few of these because when I tasted them, they were absolutely amazing. So I said, well, I got to figure out how I’m going to freeze them. So I’m going to do it freezing. And I’m hoping later on that the crunch of the stuff in the middle, y’all know the name of it, still stays that after you freeze it for however I would I would probably do it no more than up to 3 months, but child, this cookie is not going to stay 3 months in the freezer. But I would probably do it up to 3 months. But we’re going to see how this stays. And um yeah, hopefully it stays crunchy. But anyway, if it doesn’t, I’m sure it’s delightful. If you have not seen this cookie, you don’t know what you’re missing. This cookie is absolutely amazing. The brownie, it is fantastic. So anyway, just to start off, let’s get to it. Number one, do not throw away your crumble cookie boxes. Not unless you have a tight seal container that you want to put in that you prefer. But I like to wrap them up and put them back in the crumble cookie boxes if I can. Now, if you put it in the freezer bag, it could be a little bit more difficult putting it back in there with the freezer bag on, but we going to go ahead on and try um see what happens today. Okay, so let’s get started. Now, I went to the Dollar Tree because I ran out of my freezer bags. I used them up this weekend because I bought a lot of meat, um hamburger meat, turkey meat, chicken, and I use those freezer bags to store those things in my freezer. So Joshua, my lovely, handsome son, went ahead and he stopped by the store and got these freezer bags from the Dollar Tree. Okay, these cost $150, y’all. And what’s up with Dollar Tree upping their prices? So we went ahead on and he got this for me. So this is just your regular size. Let me show y’all the size it is. Let me get it out. Now, what we’re going to go ahead on and do here, as you can see that there is um an area where you can write on it. Hold up. I love these because you can write the date and what it is. Okay, so we’re going to go ahead on and put today’s date, which is 10:20. Okay, 2025. [Music] All right. And this is the Dubai brownie. All right. And I am just too happy. So I have to put a happy face and a heart cuz I’m so happy about it. All right. So we got that. That is the Dubai brownie. I went ahead on and I put the date and I put the um what was in it. Now what I like to do, I like to wrap this because this is not where it’s um frosting. Now if had frosting, you would put it directly into keep it in there and put it in the freezer. Let it get cold, then you take it out. I have a video that I did exactly how I freeze my crumble cookies. And I also have a video where I show you after maybe uh 2 weeks up to 3 months how the crumble cookie cookie ended up um tasting after we thawled it out. Okay, so I will put those videos down below if you are interested. So now let’s go ahead on. Mom is going to help me here because I’m holding the camera. I’mma go ahead on and wrap this cookie with this wrap. Now, depending on how long this cookie is going to be on the in the freezer for you. So, let’s go ahead on wrap that cookie just like so. What is this? Okay. Now, another thing you could do with this cookie. Now, mind you, this has no frosting. So, that’s what I love about it. You can go ahead on and wrap it as soon as you get it from the cookie crumble. Now, you can put it in there just like so with the saran wrap. I choose to put it in the um this container to make it even more fresh. I’m going to wrap it in foil just to solidify its freshness. I’m going to go ahead on and wrap it in a piece of foil and then we’re going to go and put it in this container. All right. So, we’re going to take that piece of foil. We’re going to take that piece of foil. We can actually go upside down with this one. Like that. Take it. Wrap it very nice and neatly. Mom is helping me out because I’m filming. And then we just take it and just bring that up just like so on one end. And bring that up like so on the other end. Okay. So this right here, this is good. Okay. Now look how nice that looks, y’all. See how nice that looks? So now we’re going to go ahead on and put it in this freezer bag. Mom, can you open that for me? Thank you very much. Lay it down. So, we’re going to go ahead on and slide that in that freezer bag. Now, to me, this freezer bag is fantastic because it is um it’s still a freezer bag. It’s from Dollar Tree. But if you are worried about if it’s the quality, honey, you can go ahead on and use Glad and Healthy Hefty. Go ahead on do the same thing. Glad and Hefty. Um they will do the same thing. Okay. They even have it where you can write that on it too as well. All right. So, we want to now make sure that all this air is out. Okay. All right. So, what we’re going to do, my mom is going to hold this. So, now what I’m going to do, I’m going to make sure all of that air is out. There’s no air. Okay. Then, we’re going to close it just like so, y’all. And she’s Listen, I take that and I fold it over just like that. Make sure it’s nice and even, child. She going to fold that down just like so. If I see there’s still a little bit of air in there, I’ll open a little bit of this on the corner. I’m going push it out just like so. Like that. Close it back. And guess what we going to do? We’re going to put that right back in there. See how that fits in there? And so if you want to put it in like this. And there you go. And you can put it up here if you want to date it and put it on the box just so you will know right off. So that you’re if that’s the one you want, go ahead on. I like to also put 10 2025 and I’ll put Dubai brownie. Okay, there we go. And then go ahead on and put this in the freezer, y’all. So, I’m going to show you one more time for y’all that just did not get it. Y’all that did, you can go ahead on and skip to this. So, there we go. Just got it from the cookie crumble. You don’t need to put this in the freezer because it’s already a cold cookie. So, now what we’re going to do, thank you, mommy. We’re going to take that saran wrap, whatever saran wrap of choice you choose. We’re going to take that saran wrap. Going to take this cookie. Now, if you This is not your cookie and you’re sharing it, you need to use some tongs, okay? Or put your gloves on. But this is my cookie. So, we’re going to go ahead on and we’re going to fold that cookie in that saran wrap. Just like so. Okay, this is really quick. We’re going to fold that and we’re going to make sure that that cookie is nicely wrapped. There we go. Okay, you don’t have to worry about that’s all cold. Okay, you can use a marker. The reason why I’m using a pen because markers I’m fair I’m afraid that it’s going to seep through. So, we’re going to put 10 2025. We’re going to do Dubai chocolate brownie. Okay. Put that little heart right there. And then remember, you’re going to take some foil. Now, you can use the foil with the sheets already. Go and take that foil. Go on and take that brownie. Just like so. Take that foil. Take that brownie. You’re going to take it and you’re going to wrap it. Just like so. Okay. Take that brownie. And there you go. It’s ready to go. You’re going to take it, put it in here, and y’all, there you go. If you got a bunch of these that you are just loving because this brownie was so good. Oo, I always go. I haven’t had um crumble in a very long time. But when they did, you know, the the Dubai craze, honey, everybody named Mama was doing the Dubai craze. I like to bring it all the way over, then fold it down. Fold that over and then do it this way. And then you go ahead on and put that in. You’re going to close this. And then do that 10 2025, whatever color you choose. And that is the Dubai brownie. All right. And that is how you do that, you guys. And we’re gonna go ahead on and put this in the freezer. And I’m going to try it Thursday. So, I will um try one on Thursday. But y’all, I’m so excited. I have two more and I’m just going to put them in the freezer. But Thursday, I will be trying it and that will be another separate video. Okay? We’ll unfall it so you all can see how that goes. But those of you who love this cookie, this particular brownie, and you wanted to know how do I how do I freeze it? I’m testing it out for you. Okay, so you can use name brand saran wrap, name brand freezer bags if you want, or you can go to Dollar Tree, honey, and save you some money. It does the same thing. And also the foil. Okay, I use the foil because I just want to make sure and ensure freshness. All right, so let’s go on and put this in the freezer and I’ll see you guys on Thursday. I hope this video helped you out. So, I know that this works in the past with other cookies um similar to this um type of style cookie. Even with the ones with the frosting, when I froze them in the past and I thawed them out, the freshness was just still there. It was amazing. Okay, I did some where it was in for 3 weeks up to 3 months. And um I like I said, I do have a video review on how they held up after being frozen. I will put that video down below. And I have videos where not just this style of cookies, but even the ones that were warm. I would let them cool down, put them in the freezer while they’re in the box, let them get to the level of when they’re frozen that I liked, which it doesn’t take can do it all in one day. take it out and do this exact same process, the saran wrap with the foil in the freezer bag and it works wonderful.
