Can anyone help identify what these little white balls are? Are they eggs for something bad? Starting to see a few of them on tomato plants

Eggs that are going to hatch into caterpillars.

Not sure what type of caterpillar the eggs will turn into (depends on the country you live in as to what species exist there, that affect tomatoes), but the white insect bottom left is whitefly, which can also cause problems.
They and their larvae suck the sap from plants, which if left to build up numbers, can be as bad as the caterpillars over time.

Look like Whiteflies to me. They do some damage and can stunt the plant. Neem oil applied under and on the leaves weekly stopped them dead in their tracts for me.

White flies. Zoom in on the spot on the first picture and you can see one. Get some insecticidal soap and apply it liberally to the tops and bottoms of the leaves and that will take care of it.
