Hello r/Coffee_Shop ! Are we allowed to talk about our own Coffee Shop? There are 4 beans: Arabica, Robusta, Liberica, and Excelsa. Excelsa is having its moment as climate change has hurt Arabica and Robusta crops. Excelsa coined Champagne of Coffee is also more expensive than quick-growing Arabica.
So why am I writing! ExcelsaCoffee.com opened the 1st Excelsa Coffee bean cafe in US history in 2025. We are located in San Diego, California, and sell on Amazon as well. We cannot be more excited, it reminds us of when the Acai Berry hit the US market almost 25 years ago by two brothers out of Los Angeles who went surfing in Brazil and tried Acai.
Tomorrow of all days we are one of roughly 40 booths at San Diego Coffee Fest. It is their 1st time having an Excelsa booth, and they host events from NYC, Miami, Austin, San Diego, San Fran to over seas! They put us on the entrance corner as well as a featured booth!
Couldn't be more excited to find this group, and I really hope many of you are excited to try Excelsa Coffee Beans! If you are not in San Diego, Amazon is here to help!
