McKinney residents can now enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, newly opened at 5701 S. Custer Road in the Inception Retail Center.
The award-winning restaurant is owned by Ravinder Singh Jarral, who runs the location with the help of his family.
Mediterranean Classics With A Modern Twist
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is known for its bold flavors and modern approach to traditional dishes. Built on authentic family recipes passed down through generations, the menu celebrates Mediterranean cuisine with fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors.
“Our family’s dream has always been to work together in serving our community with high-quality, healthy food that tastes good, and we’re thrilled to be here in McKinney,” said Jarral. “From our classic, flavorful gyros to our fresh takes on sweet baklava, the menu has something for everyone in the family to enjoy.”

Popular selections include The great Greek gyro — Jarral’s personal favorite — along with customizable souvlaki plates and rice bowls featuring proteins like lamb, steak, chicken or shrimp. Guests can pair these with crisp Greek salads or one of four signature house-made dips: hummus, tzatziki, melitzanosalata (eggplant dip) and tirokafteri (spicy roasted red pepper).
For something indulgent, diners can try feta fries or one of the restaurant’s sweet finishes, including baklava, rice pudding or the in-house-made baklava ice cream.
Catering And Community Connection
Beyond the restaurant’s dine-in service, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill also caters to larger gatherings and special events. From build-your-own gyro kits to savory souvlaki skewers, its catering spreads are designed to impress with flavor and freshness.
The new McKinney location serves neighborhoods like Craig Ranch, The Grove, Westridge and Tucker Hill. The 2,100-square-foot restaurant seats 40 guests and offers dine-in, pick-up, catering and delivery options.
