Thinly sliced, crisp, and delicious, this vegetarian side dish will completely change the way that you enjoy Brussels sprouts! In this video, Nicole shows you how to make a flavorful Brussels caesar salad recipe with garlicky breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, and oven-roasted Brussels sprouts.

This Brussels sprout Caesar salad is the side dish you need to serve up this holiday season or any day really. Start by shaving Brussels sprouts. This can be done with a food processor or a knife. You just want them really thin. Then toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper and roast them in a thin layer at 450Β° for about 10 minutes. While they cool, make the garlicky breadrumbs. Melt butter in a skillet. Add in some garlic and some fresh breadrumbs. However, you could use panko here if you want. Get them golden and crispy. And then go build the salad. Toss the Brussels sprouts with your favorite Caesar dressing, salt and pepper to taste, and some grated parm. Top with most of the breadrumbs, a heaping pile of grated Parmesan, and the remaining breadrumbs. And oh my gosh, look at that. I’m excited about this one. M. Now that’s how to make a Brussels sprout. Exciting. on Skype.

  1. This looks delicious, think I’d add some toasted hazelnut or be trendy and add toasted pistachio. Yum πŸ˜‹

  2. I have a difficult time finding, EVEN MAKING a mild salad dressing!!
    Please help!
Dressings are either too tart from vinegar (I do love) or lemon/lime. I’ve had to add in mayo even yogurt maybe not enough but then the dressing lacks a nice flavor. If I eat at a very nice high-end restaurant, they use what I call a soft, nice flavor dressing that blends the lettuce & all other. I’m tired of throwing out dressings. The sauce for dishes or sandwiches; dressing for
salads is what blends all and makes the dish enjoyable.
