Fluffy, No-Yeast Yogurt Flatbreads in under 20 minutes!
Yes, it’s that easy! These soft, chewy flatbreads are a game-changer. With just a few simple ingredients (and NO waiting for dough to rise!), you can have fresh, warm bread on the table in no time. Perfect for dipping, as a side, or as a wrap for your favorite fillings!
I added some grilled fish, veggies and sauce – a perfect dinner!!
Here’s how to make them:
Ingredients:
· 3 cups white flour
· 1.5 cups Greek Yogurt
· 2 tbsp Olive Oil
· 1.5 tsp Salt
· 1 tsp Sugar
· Fresh Oregano or thyme
· 2 Garlic cloves, crushed
Instructions:
1. In a bowl or mixer, combine all ingredients until a shaggy dough forms.
2. Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Pro Tip: If it’s dry, add a spoonful of yogurt. If it’s sticky, add a bit more flour.
3. Divide: Split the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.
4. On a floured surface, roll each ball into your desired thickness. (I like mine super thin, but you do you!).
5. Heat a dry frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook each flatbread for 2-3 minutes per side, until puffed and beautifully charred in spots
