On of my fave sandwich shops. The roast beef is so tender and thinly sliced. The roll is fresh baked and the au jus is not salty as many are. Delicious!

  1. I agree that looks nice. A weck roll would have made it even better.

Looks like a Super Beef from New England Roast Beef (NERB) in Worcester, MA…

I know there are a ton of other roast beef shops out there, God bless them all!

I would say this is some kind of marketing for Arby’s but OP seems to actually post a lot of food.

It’s been way too long since I’ve had a Beef on Weck.

“Roast Beef Au Jus Dipping Sandwich”

Awkward way to say French Dip

Arby’s Half Pound Roast Beef with lots of Horsey Sauce is how I roll.

  8. Kinda hungry for dinner. I’m reminded of my childhood and the first time I experienced the simple sandwich of delicious paper thin sliced beef served on a steamed bun. Arby’s sauce and Horsey sauce were there for those who like strong flavors. My mom knew I liked Arby’s more than McDonald’s, we did the drive thru when she was too tired from work to cook.

But Arby’s is garbage food now, as it was back then, like every other fast food franchise. There’s no way I’ll eat that or serve it to my kids.

Is this an example of American food?

  10. OMG- it’s a not an advertisement- it was my lunch at a sandwich shop in Rhode Island. It was delicious- you guys crack me up.

  11. This is how I expect Arby’s roast beef sandwiches to look in real life… But I’m always so disappointed!

I’ll bet it tasted great, but that’s an awful photo.

That sounds so good! Perfect combo of tender beef, fresh bread, and balanced au jus 😋
