Hello everyone I know it's been a chunk of time between posts, work and life just pulled me away from getting through all my travel pictures but we're back with what was my first real Sushi and Omakase experience, Sabi Omakase in Stavanger!
It was an incredible experience and made me super embarrassed that I had allowed my reaction to sushi in my teenage years stop me from trying it again now. I am now fully obsessed and dying to go and enjoy another night out like it.
I would say the only fault with the evening was as we were getting near the end there was an oddly long period of time between the final savory dish and the ice cream we received.

Looks phenomenal
Is that pebble dish a new trend? Maybe I’m a traditionalist but I love to see nigiri served on something that makes it really easy to see the fish, detail of presentation etc. I could see this being interesting for other uses though
