Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has unveiled Le Donne Eroiche del Vino Biologico – The Heroic Women of Organic Wine – a curated list celebrating 22 female Italian winemakers who are redefining the country’s organic wine landscape.
The selection, available across all Il Ristorante – Niko Romito locations worldwide, brings together wines from regions spanning Trentino’s alpine slopes to Sicily’s sun-soaked estates. Each bottle reflects a commitment to authenticity, biodiversity and the land itself.
Among the featured producers are Elisabetta Foradori of Azienda Agricola Foradori, Arianna Occhipinti of Azienda Agricola Occhipinti, Chiara Boschis of Azienda Agricola Pira, and Elena Pantaleoni of La Stoppa. The list showcases their craftsmanship and sustainable ethos – values increasingly associated by consumers with premium quality.
Organic excellence meets luxury hospitality
For Bvlgari, the initiative marks a continued effort to align fine hospitality with environmental responsibility and cultural storytelling. “Bvlgari has always stood for innovation, excellence, and cultural authenticity,” said Silvio Ursini, Executive Vice President of Bvlgari, who told Epicure that the project “reflects our values and gives us the opportunity to shine a spotlight on women who are making an extraordinary impact in the world of wine.”
“Promoting organic viticulture is essential – not only for environmental responsibility but also for preserving heritage and flavour,” Ursini added.
A growing appetite for organic stories
The move comes as the global organic wine market is forecast to triple by 2030, driven by consumer demand for sustainability, transparency and authenticity. With more drinkers associating organic production with higher quality and ethical provenance, Bvlgari’s focus on women-led, organically farmed wines taps into this growing appetite for wines with a story behind them.
By integrating Le Donne Eroiche del Vino Biologico across its international properties – from Milan to Dubai, Tokyo to Bali – Bvlgari invites guests to experience Italian organic wine through a new lens: one that celebrates both craftsmanship and conscience.
Bringing producers to the table
The wine list was unveiled at Bvlgari Hotel Milano with an aperitivo at the Bvlgari Boutique followed by a wine-paired dinner at Il Ristorante – Niko Romito. Guests had the opportunity to meet the winemakers themselves and hear about their sustainable practices first-hand.
More than a showcase of taste, Le Donne Eroiche del Vino Biologico underscores how luxury hospitality is increasingly embracing organic producers – not only to meet consumer expectations, but to celebrate the human stories shaping the future of sustainable wine.
