Usual store… usually one of the few who risks it on the old whites. Lover of aged white Burg and Rhône- grabbed these guys for $18 a pop. Color is insanely clear and looks like a young savvy B, not 16 year old Alsace. Hard corks, dusty on the back of the shelf. Report back tomorrow on if we won or lost on this round of super aged cheap whites…. Opinions??
Bonus $37 2012 Freemark…. 18’ Morgan was my random buy of the day, prob at the end of its life but hoping for some Burgundian style popcorn nutty goodness while expecting overly oxidized p*ss water. Should I go back and grab all of the trimbachs??

I’d be surprised if the Pinot Blanc has held up. But I looooove Alsatian Pinot Gris that has a bit of age to it!
That Pinot Gris is fantastic. A few of these started to pop up on a few flash sites a couple of years ago and I bought a whole bunch for a great price.
