Whether your idea of food heaven is fine dining at Michelin-mentioned restaurants or getting down and dirty with a pile of crawfish, Palm Beach County has some serious range when it comes to food festivals.

This 2025-26 season packs significant flavor and fun from start to finish with the Galbani Feast of Little Italy at Abacoa in Jupiter in November and the Galbani Festa Italiana in Wellington in mid-April, both celebrating Italian cuisine and culture, practically bookending the season.

In between there will be a whole lot of goodness including the culinary star-studded Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival to events celebrating all things Wisconsin, bacon, barbecue, garlic, Cajun culture and much more.

Florida Game Dinner, Tropical Smokehouse

Maybe you’re an avid hunter who loves spending hours in a tree stand waiting for that perfect buck or maybe you don’t know what a tree stand is but have always wanted to taste some of Florida’s wild game. This is the perfect opportunity for both parties to see how delicious it can be.

With a menu crafted by chef, pitmaster and Tropical co-owner Rick Mace, this event will feature an oyster roast, wild boar jerk sausage (chef Mace decided to switch things up from their usual gator sausage), grilled venison, braised red cabbage, brown bread and a sour cherry crisp with bourbon whipped cream.

Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Veterans for Conservation, which enlists the skills and resilience of our nation’s vets to help eradicate invasive species from Florida’s ecosytems. The organization was founded by Mike Kimmel, aka Python Cowboy, who does guided hunts for hogs, iguana and Burmese pythons. The event will feature a silent auction along with a rifle and knife raffle that will benefit Veterans for Conservation.

Out of all of the events that Tropical Smokehouse does each year, chef Mace said “It’s the single day event that I look most forward to.”
