The best way to stop yourself from ordering out every night is marinating a bunch of chicken and keeping it in the freezer for quick dinners throughout the week. It truly is a game changer for those days where you just can’t decide about what to make for dinner because let’s be honest, the hardest part is picking something to cook. The first marinade we’re making is spicy shawm. So, it’s just a shawma seasoning mixed with harisa. The second one is a lemon, garlic, and herb using tomb. The third one is miso honey, which is delicious for some Asian inspired rice bowls. The fourth one is pouada which is similar to carne sada but just with chicken and it uses a lot of citrus so it has very bright flavors. And then for the last one we’re doing a Thai inspired green curry chicken. It has the perfect balance of sweet and savory and the coconut milk makes it so creamy. For each marinade you can pick if you want to use chicken breast or chicken thighs. You can keep them whole, chop them thin into strips or chop them into cubes. Add the chicken into each Ziploc bag. Pour the marinade. Seal it and shake it up really well to marinate everything evenly. And then you can label them with the date as well as the name. And then just pop them in the freezer to chill.

  5. I really like the way you say "Shawarma". My pale-american-butt says it so ugly by comparison. Will absolutely try this marinade out tomorrow. Thank you!
