Roughly $200.00 for the following:
1.75lbs of Brisket
0.5lb of Turkey
1lb of Ribs
3 Jalapeño/Cheese Sausages
Sides were (pints): Green Spaghetti, Potato Salad, Pork Stew (Calabacita) and Charro Beans

Phenomenal Brisket. Phenomenal Sausage. Ribs were very good as well. Turkey was just “ok-ish”. The green (poblano) spaghetti is her signature side. It is amazing. Potato Salad is also very good. Pork Stew is sentimental for me. MIL made it a lot and I love it but it’s not mandatory. The Charro beans are very good too. My wife was able to copycat her green spaghetti recipe to perfection. If only I could copycat her brisket and sausage ☹️

This is my THIRD trip to her in three months. She’s an hour away from me. No regrets. None. She also has solid Lamb Chops, but after two orders over my first two trips, I just find them too salty. They are/were cooked perfectly but I’m not a fan of her rub, but others certainly are. It seems that’s the first thing she typically sells out of, at least they were on our initial visit.

If you’ve been thinking about hitting her up, go now. She’s only getting more popular. My fear is in a few years she may be as big as Franklin’s.

Thanks for the rundown. I’ve been wanting to go here for ages and your description helps me narrow down what I want to get! Also 👀 on that green spaghetti recipe…

Barb’s is terrific, and the young ladies who own and run it are lovely. I was frankly surprised it didn’t make the TM Top 10, but the competition is fierce in Texas now. The green spaghetti is not too difficult to replicate, but the total package of the Molotov ribs, brisket, fajita sausage and the rest of the sides? All together it’s a home run. Super glad they’re succeeding. Love to see it. I’m sure there’ll be the predictable ‘I’d NeVeR pAy ThAt MuCh fOr BbQ’ but their prices are in line with everyone else in Central Texas and beef ain’t getting any cheaper.
