Following years of requests, CAVA’s first Volusia restaurant opened its doors this month.

10 restaurants for takeout in the Daytona Beach area
Looking for takeout in New Smyrna Beach, Port Orange and Daytona Beach? These 10 restaurants are some of our favorites.
Mediterranean eats await in Volusia Square, where Daytona’s newest fast-casual restaurant recently opened shop.
CAVA, a Mediterranean grill, made its Volusia County debut last week when the eatery, located at 2475 W. International Speedway Blvd., Suite 205, began welcoming guests to its first Daytona Beach restaurant.
Founded in 2010 with a desire to embrace “Mediterranean warmth,” hospitality and bold flavors, CAVA has built a reputation for its timeless approach to health-conscious cuisine. The fast-casual eatery prides itself on resisting shortcuts and maintaining high quality ingredients as the foundation of its menu, made up of various bowls, pitas, teas and juices.
“Our mission is to bring heart, health and humanity to food, and everything we do at CAVA is grounded in that spirit of generosity, to our guests, our team members and our community,” Regional Director Scott Sheffield said in a statement. “We couldn’t be more excited to be in Daytona Beach … .”
What’s on the menu at CAVA?
From wholesome ingredients to endless flavor combinations, CAVA’s hearty bowl menu features nearly a dozen options to choose from. Each one builds from a base of crisp greens, hearty grains – or both – layered with Mediterranean-inspired spreads, proteins and toppings that deliver the warmth, zest or crispiness you crave.
Try the spicy lamb meatball bowl with avocado, feta, lentils and hummus, among other additions, or the Clix Chicken Shawarma bowl with fire-roasted corn, tzatziki, rice, broccoli and garlic dressing. Those with a different concoction in mind can build their own bowl.
Pita wraps range from the steak and feta with red pepper hummus to the Greek chicken with creamy tzatziki. Alongside a helping of classic or brand-new cinnamon sugar pita chips, guests can sift through several sides, from harissa and hummus to roasted eggplant and tzatziki.
“We believe that good food has the power to uplift people and communities. That’s why we serve meals that help our guests eat and live well; support the people who grow, prepare and serve our food; and create spaces where everyone feels seen, welcomed and nourished,” its website states. “Our goal is to make a lasting and positive difference – one meal, one moment, and one connection at a time.”
Customers can join CAVA’s rewards program and download the brand’s official app to earn points, achieve new status levels and receive exclusive perks.
