I love making bean curd. It is cheap and easy. The way I do it doesn't require any straining or using coagulants.

How to make it

  1. Take one cup of beans and cover with water.

  2. Let it soak for 8 hours or overnight.

  3. Drain and rinse.

  4. Add three cups of water, the soaked beans and seasonings to the blender.

  5. Blend until smooth.

  6. Cook on the stove on medium heat while stirring until it is the consistency of mashed potatoes.

  7. Pour it into a square bowl/pan.

  8. Let it sit over night in the fridge.

  9. Prepare it anyway you want to. I usually cut it into cubes and air fry it for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. I usually eat it with BBQ sauce.
