Forget Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Fall is officially comfort food season, and there’s hardly a better hearty meal than those found at Italian restaurants. Yes, Bergen is packed with plenty of delicious options to choose from, each with its own take on the flavors of Italy. And the latest addition to the food scene is no exception.
Hillsdale, NJ just welcomed Alba Italian Grill to the neighborhood, which brings a traditional yet elevated atmosphere and Italian-inspired menu. Taking over the location of Osso Bucco, this rebranded family-owned spot offers authentic dishes made only with the freshest ingredients, served in a warm, welcoming, and intimate environment that’s perfect for date nights and family dinners.
Alba Italian Grill’s menu combines classic favorites such as clams oreganata, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiana, and shrimp scampi, along with Italian twists such as the porch chop arribbiata, the seafood lover’s go-to, fruitti di mare, and Alba’s signature pappardelle ala Alba. The restaurant is also open for lunch Mondays through Fridays starting at 12 pm, with a slightly more abbreviated menu of its most popular dishes.
The restaurant is stocked with a full bar, including a curated wine list, plus a limited number of seats to enjoy your meal at the bar. You can also host private events depending on the number of guests, as it can hold up to 80.
Welcome to the neighborhood, Alba Italian Grill. Ciao, Bella.
