I just did my first ever batch of preserves today! I made 4 different flavours of applesauce from the fresh apples we picked last week. There’s plain apple, apple cinnamon, apple strawberry, and apple blueberry. I can’t wait to see how they turned out and if it was successful 😄

Recipe is: 1lbs apples, 6 tablespoons water and 1 1/2 teaspoons of bottled lemon juice. It was the same for all except I added cinnamon to taste for one, then for the ones with berries I kept the ratio less than apples and only added about a cup (150g) of each berry to their batch simmered until soft, blended and added to jars and processed for 15 minutes. I personally chose not to add any sugars or sweeteners but you totally can if you want I’m just not sure the amount.
