Absolutely no marbling, and one of these NY strips is a quarter as thick on one half.
I didn't expect good steaks, but based on the reviews I guess I expected a little better than this.

Have always looked at mail order steaks as inherently a gamble for anyone with at least somewhat decent familiarity of how good steaks look and how much the quality differs wildly even in the same grade. No reason to gamble if you can somehow someway make it to a store to decide for yourself.

All of their meat is no roll (not graded) and mostly comes from South America, Australia, and New Zealand. That cow looks like it was put on a diet.
