Which food truck is the best? Enjoy delicious creations and pick your favorites Saturday night as Carson City is set to host its first-ever food truck competition, Battle of the Bites, at the Northern Nevada Coin parking lot, 601 N Carson St.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and will bring together 15+ of the best food trucks from across the Carson City, Reno and Lake Tahoe areas.
The public can enjoy live music, raffles, vendors, family-friendly activities, and most importantly, cast their votes for the best food of the night. Voting closes at 6:45 p.m., with the Food Champion announced at 7 p.m. The winning food truck will take home a cash prize and the title of Carson City’s first Battle of the Bites Champion.
A portion of vendor fees will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada, ensuring the event not only celebrates great food but also gives back to the local community.
“Carson City is ready for something fun and unique, and what better way than to bring our community together with amazing food trucks and local entertainment?” said Chelsea Lavender, event organizer and owner of Magical Moments.
