INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
1 medium Onion, chopped
1 cup Carrot, grated or chopped
1 cup Red Lentils, washed and soaked in water
4 cups vegetable Stock or water
Salt, as per taste
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
Red Chili Powder, as per taste
1/2 cup Coconut Milk
For Garnish:
1-2 tbsp Coconut Milk or Greek Yogurt or Sour Cream
1 tsp Chili Oil, or Chili Paste or Red Chili Flakes
1 tbsp chopped Cilantro or Parsley

hey guys welcome today I’m making spice car lentil soup which is hoty delicious and easy to make before getting started if you’re new to my channel and please subscribe and hit the Bell button so you don’t miss my future recipes and let’s get started take a big pod or instant podt or a pressure cooker add some oil when the oil is hot add cumin seeds when they flutter then add some chopped onions I’ve used one onion one mediumsized onion for the recipe cook for like 3 to four 5 minutes until it’s golden brown in color I’ll leave the list of ingredient in the description box below if you like the recipe then don’t forget to check it out next add ginger garlic paste and then salort for one more minute and then add some Tomatoes you can use chopped tomatoes diced tomatoes canned tomatoes Cher Tomatoes whatever you like I add around like 1 cup of tomatoes in the recipe Let It Go for 2 minutes until tomatoes are a little soft and then add um carrots I have grated the carrots and added in the recipe or you can also chop the carrots or dice the carrots and then blend it in the recipe then add soak lentils I’ve used red lentil in the recipe and soak it for 30 minutes so just add the lentils and top it with some vegetable stock or you can also add water next add spices I have added turmeric powder salt garam masala red chili powder you can add or less you can add more or less of tread chili depend on your taste and then close the lid and pressure cook for 5 minutes when it beefs let the pressure release naturally and then when the lenes are cooked then you can um blend it using a immersion blender and then add around half cup of coconut milk if you want and cook for 5 more minutes and the soup is all ready pour it in the soup B if you like you can chop with some more coconut milk some GRE yogurt sour cream whatever you like uh for more spicy flavor I’ve also used a chili oil in the recipe for garnish or you can use some chili paste red chili flakes whatever you feel like garnish with some chopped cilantro or you can use a chopped parsley if you don’t like cilantro flavor serve it with your choice of bread I’ve used um crusty uh olive bread in the recip with the soup and please leave a comment and tell me if you like my recipe or what’s your favorite soup recipe I hope you like the video and thank you for watching [Music]
