McDonald’s is overpriced for what it is. cheaper and better to make a burger at home

McDonald’s meat is unchanged. It’s always been the exact same weight.

Fast Food in 2025 is totally unprofitable for normal person. Just a few years ago, it was “poor man’s” food: cheap, low-nutritional, but it kept you full for a while.
Now? It’s expensive, low-nutritional, and keeps you full for a short time.

Well it is a cheeseburger, not a meatburger.

Meat? lol silly. Meat like substance is what you meant.

If you’re still going in 2025 you aren’t that smart. All the downsides are well known and spoken about.

I was shocked to see that they don’t even have a dollar menu at all anymore. This order was 10$ and it was tiny, with barely anything in the burgers. Probably the last time I’ll ever go unless forced somehow

McDonald’s burger patties officially sinking into melting cheese.
Buttered_Toast33
Yet they expect us to pay casual dining prices for this garbage. Unbelievable.
Squirest
MacDonalds only has 2 sizes for burgers 1/4 lbs frozen not cooked weight and regular meat it’s 10 of them to equal a lb of meat
BanjoSpaceMan
I mean fuck McDonald’s but this picture is angled funny lol. The meat is melting into cheese so it looks lower. Bsssssss shame on you
Edit I’m at McDonald’s right now lmao, shits the same as always

McDonald’s has become a luxury food to me. Which sucks because it’s not even half as good as it was ten years ago when I could have it every day
Ilovegirlsbottoms
I literally had a dream two days ago that I ordered McDonald’s, and the chicken I got was barely thicker than the cheese.
Now I see, it was showing me the truth.

McDonald’s are all about quality < profits . only surprise is that ppl still eat there tbh
thegracelesswonder
You’re literally showing us a picture of a slice of cheese that is thinner than the patty so Idk if you’re confused or trying to gaslight people or what

20 years ago, I had a sociology professor who wrote the book called “The McDonaldization of Society”. We obviously had to read his book and it was basically the better part of the class.
In his book he mentioned that McDonalds has been consistently shrinking the size of the meat over time to enhance profit. That was 20 years ago. Just think how much more they have since then.
