Ace’s in Williamsburg is Detroit style and is the best I’ve had in that style and my second favorite place in NYC. I get a lot of shit for that.
In nyc it’s hard to get “crumbly” sausage and thankfully they do it here.

I don’t even recognize some of those toppings. I generally enjoy a Detroit-style crust (in small doses because they’re so damn dense and heavy), but that would be a hard no for me.
But for you? If that’s what you like, enjoy it.

Aces is great – discovered it by chance when on holiday 3 years ago, gave me a love for Detroit style.
They serve Kona beer too, which makes it even better.
