This forum brings together experts, producers, and industry professionals to discuss strategies, share experiences, and promote the region’s wine identity.

The event will be hosted and moderated by André Villa de Brito, who makes his passion for gastronomy and wine a personal and professional way of life. He is currently the ambassador for the Portuguese Sommeliers Association for the Algarve region.

The event will begin with the opening session, which will be attended by Luís Encarnação, Mayor of Lagoa, who will welcome participants, accompanied by Sara Silva, President of the Algarve Wine Commission, and Pedro Machado, Secretary of State for Tourism of the Portuguese Government.

Among the guest speakers, Luísa Rebelo, owner and general manager of Torre de Palma Wine Hotel, will be the keynote speaker on the first day. With extensive experience in creating excellent wine experiences, she will share an inspiring perspective on the integration of wine, hospitality, and territory.

The program also includes presentations by leading wine tourism professionals who will address topics such as innovation, identity, collaboration, wine tourism in urban landscapes, storytelling, and personalized experiences.

The closing session will feature Pedro Valadas Monteiro, Vice President of the CCDR Algarve, and André Gomes, President of Turismo do Algarve.

Highlight

One of the highlights will be the lunch with a paired menu at the Tivoli Carvoeiro Resort, where participants will enjoy a diverse menu created to pair with wines from all producers in the Algarve Golden Terroir region, celebrating the diversity and quality of regional production.

The forum also includes two exclusive wine tourism experiences: a visit to Arvad Wines, where participants can explore the connection between wine and the riverside landscape, and a closing experience at Morgado do Quintão, which combines family tradition and innovation in wine production.

To ensure accessibility for all participants, the event will feature simultaneous Portuguese-English and English-Portuguese translation, allowing for fluid communication between national and international participants.

The ticket includes a wide range of services: participation in technical sessions, coffee breaks, simultaneous translation, a paired lunch, transportation between locations, and the aforementioned wine tourism experiences.
